I’m in a band with some of my friends and we’re making a switch from emo to psych rock (weird I know) and I’m looking for things to inspire me as a sort of oddball not normal guitarist, I’m not crazy good and I love can, Pink Floyd, spiritualized, though trying to stay inside the non-(new) shoegaze side of things (edit: I LOVE Steve hillage as a well, I’m not crazy familiar with ozric tentacles but I will listen to them today)

.. if so, please share your stories! I love that album to death and would be so grateful to hear some stories of what it was like, since I’m 18 and don’t have a Time Machine haha

Looking to start a band but can’t quite get my voice where it needs to be for screamo/emo

Any metal/hardcore vocal teachers in the area?
How could I find someone to teach me?

Looking for more like usurp synpases 2000s era stuff pretty much from brudlefly on (disinformation fix) looking for as similar vocals as possible ! i love his voice

and those guitar tones are to die for

any recs? thx! <3 (by the way i already love orchid and jeromes dream)
