I had a little time to kill before Christmas, so I packed some light supplies and went to the woods after some heavy rain to build a fire, cook some lunch, and erect a shelter. (Oregon)
imgur.com/gallery/xIIrRSo, my grandparents own a business. I'm not saying where or what they do, but they do well for themselves. They also take great care of their employees. They provide full coverage healthcare, paid for by employer. They provide TONS of paid vacation time and VERY competitive salaries to their employees. You don't get Christmas or holidays off, but you may be able to get a ride to meeting after work...
The thing is... All of their employees are JW's... As are my grandparents. My grandmother has been a career pioneer woman and also uses her business to create graphics for JW kiosks... (I view this as sort of a government contract type of thing...) They only hire JW's to work for them. This s

i.reddituploads.com/96f3c42da254449db2808bb22...So, my wife and I DIY'd most of our wedding and an awesome collection of things that we don't want to just sit around in a box. I'm at a loss of where to sell them though...
What have you guys done with wedding decorations and things, post wedding? Not looking to get rich off of them, just might want to get a few dollars out of what we put into it.
To anyone who is interested: Location- Portland OR. Have 8'x8' photobooth wall, white door altar, burlap and lace runners, mason jars, white table cloths, etc. Have all this stuff, don't know what to do with it.
Hello everyone! I am looking to rent a thickness planer for an upcoming woodworking project. The only one I can find it out in Parkrose, for $60 for the whole day. It's a little far to be driving completely across town and back... I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place in Hillsboro/Beaverton/Forest Grove that would rent one for the day?
Thanks!
We did it! Our 100% DIY countryside wedding on the cheap. Here's some of our decor and flower arrangements created from weeds!

Hello Preppers,
I am interested in getting some fuel stored as a backup for my families generators and transportation needs, when the SHTF.
I found a formerly diesel fuel tank on craigslist for $100 for a 160gal tank. It's not large, but should do the job for a little while.
I'm looking for advice on where to purchase fuel from, how to pump it out of the tank, safely storing it, etc.
Anyone have experience in storing extra fuel and care to share their thoughts?
