Has anyone dealt with security deposit vouchers in Yardi?

The voucher is basically a guarantee to pay the security deposit if needed, but no cash is actually received or held by the property. These are issues by Human Resource Administration.

How do you track these in Yardi?

I’m curious what picture settings everyone is using on the JMGO N1S Ultimate. Specifically, I’m interested in things like:

  • Picture mode (Movie, Standard, Vivid, etc.)
  • RGB gain/offset adjustments
  • Color temperature
  • Brightness/light output
  • Contrast, saturation, sharpness
  • Any HDR-specific settings

I’m trying to dial mine in and would like to compare what others have found works best.

I just discovered something I didn’t realize Apple TV could do.

You can AirPlay to an Apple TV without the Apple TV being connected to Wi-Fi or the internet. As long as both devices have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled, they can use peer-to-peer AirPlay.

I was at a hotel where Wi-Fi was limited to four devices. Instead of paying for a fifth connection for my Apple TV, I was still able to connect to it directly from my iPhone and iPad.

Videos must be compatible with Apple’s built-in player and 4K streamed perfect. This is not screen mirror which resulted in very poor quality.

I figured I wasn’t the only one who had no idea this feature existed.

I have the exact same library, with both Plex and Emby having thumbnails and audio analysis disabled. Even after completely resetting the Plex database recently, it just kept growing over the next few weeks. Now the cache folder is a massive 13GB. Why such a big difference?

Plex 15G

Emby 3G

I bought a 2012 Suzuki Swift, chassis code 7Z72S, for my mom who lives in the Caribbean. I’m planning to swap the Japanese radio for a USA-compatible one but I’m not sure what parts I’ll need. I know I’ll need the wire harness, but I’m unsure if I also need a backup camera adapter, antenna adapter, or any other adapters. I believe the dash kit should work. The new radio will be a Pioneer DMH-1800NEX. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is the current radio installation. I am not in the Caribbean so I cannot check it.

The dealership said my 2020 GLE 450 is due for transmission service because the interval is 6 years or 60K miles. I have about 45K miles at the moment. The quote is all labor cost with no parts.

Another shop told me transmission service is not needed as the vehicle has a sealed unit.

What is actually done for transmission service? I thought it was to replace the fluid but that can't cost $1300 in labor cost.
