has anyone been notified to upgrade their Nokia modems to a newer modem that supports SA?
if not, and you contacted them for an upgrade.. how was your experience?

I spent several hours this weekend trying to find an adapter for the ice maker on my new refrigerator.
The fridge had a short line in with a 1/4" male thread brass connector to it, and the delivery came with a 1/4" female to 1/4" female braided hose.
Unfortunately, I believed that the wall outlet valve had a 3/8" male compression on it.. but it didn't, it was 5/16".
I could not find anywhere a 5/16" female compression to 1/4" male reducing adapter.
this is the only thing i could find locally:

Purchased a new all-in-one washer and had it delivered.
They got nearly where i wanted, but i want to move this thing just a couple more inches over, and omg... this thing must weight 350 pounds.
How in the world am I going to move this thing?
Any recommendations would be helpful on ways for a singke person to mive this around?
The floor is LVP, and i have easy access to one side and about 10" on the other...
My flight is tomorrow, 2 people, tickets paid for already.
Went to check in on the mobike app and they automatically charge me 35$ a seat.
I don't give a damn about the seat... just random give us one.
Nope. The app is forcing me to pay an extra 70$ to checkin foe a flight I've already paid for.
Never had this fuckery happen before.
We use pingfederate and the reverse proxy is yarp. Auth is working splendidly on the proxy; however, apps behind the proxy have an issue using the cookie...
The apps do not have exposed routes to the intranet, and have a scoped cookie events class and cookie auth provider.
When a request is forwarded to the app, the cookie event "redirect to login" gets triggered, with a path of "account/login..." automagically applied to redirect.
It ends up looping...
I can see in the inbound forwarded request, the cookie... user identity is authenticated with cliams established by the proxy... I'm obviously missing something critical.
A nifty usb-a to usb-c adapter is provided, which is cool... however, you cannot update the firmware on pc using it.
GG Engine refuses to recognize the buds case when connected via the adapter.
I had to borrow a laptop to use usb-c to usb-c
A bit of a bummer... but the features and swapping BT to 2.4 works great 👍
Been looking at builders here in N TX and not really seeing any xeriscape offerings/options.
Is there a reason?
hi, I have just spent the last two days trying to get playwright working within the published container found here:
mcr.microsoft.com/playwright/dotnet:v1.48.0
we are using Tanzu and Gitlab CI/CD....
in general, the pipeline during build stage performs:
- dotnet build -Release -0 <mydir>
- pwsh ./bin/Release/net8.0/playwright.ps1 install-deps chromium
- pwsh ./bin/Release/net8.0/playwright.ps1 install
- dotnet publish....
the artifacts do contain all the bits in ./playwright
in PCF (tanzu), droplets get downloaded... runs
unfortuantely, as soon as I hit an endpoint to run playwright, i get that message that says it h
I'm interested in getting some new ear buds and have always enjoyed my Arctis 7+ headset on my PC... however, my phones earbuds kinda stink and I was looking at these Arctis Gamebuds....
I also have an XBOX and thought, ok cool... i could use these with any of my devices right? PC, XBOX, Phone?
Can I buy a couple extra dongles for this thing or can the bluetooth just work for like with my Phone as well as my laptop?
I can't find much info on these yet.....
Ive been developing at some capacity since early 2000s, started with IIS and ASP. A litlle C, a tad of Java... etc.
It wasn't my "full time" gig, but we made solutions to manage our infrastructure. Simple stuff.
Late 2012, i made a career shift and left infra services to dedicate to software engineering. Starting with core rc1 actually... totally enjoyed it. Did a few customer projects with Android Studio, some with AngularJS... evetually landed a FTE at a large company dedicated to .NET framwork.
We (the team i was on), started migrated projects to dotnet core. I had experience already, but it was so much better since rc1, we went 109% throttle on it. Still are, lovin' it.

I'm looking for suggestions on a cost affective way to control indoor humidity.
Over the past couple weeks (north texas), that while my AC maintains a good temperature (75 to 77) the humidity reading on my Honeywell T9 thermostat indicates an increase in humidity from 53% early morning up to about 60% late afternoon (hottest parts of day)
Is this normal?
It doesn't feel uncomfortable, it feels alright... but i think that without that shift it would feel much more comfortable.
Is there a recommendation for something like a device i could plug in the kitchen to perhaps reduce this?
Thought you HVAC folks might enjoy this....

So i learned today that the home next to me was purchased to be rented for assisted living and end of life care purposes.
I didn't even realize this was a thing until now but raises a ton of questions in my mind.
I assume this explains the high rental price somewhat as im guessing that medicare/meducaid covers it.
The problem I've seen so far is traffic, with nurses parking on the street and emergency services showing up too.
I wonder, do they not require permits from the city, state or county?
Doesn't operating a business violate some HOA thing?
How are they getting away with doing this....
