I toured a US Repositioning Ship in Micronesia a few decades back. They mentioned everyone gets trained for safety but looks like they ate well. We were served Prime Rib.
Wondering if a healthy, retired chef would survive, or even thrive on a ship for several months.
How many mouths to feed, number of shifts, morale and creativity?
Worth being away from home for the pay?
Do they discriminate on age? I’m 65.
Two questions:
-
For those who have requested over $900.00 worth of VINE goods: What is your estimated "taxable" ETV percentage in your neck of the woods. How did you handle claiming it as taxable?
-
It's always tempting to request and select items on whimsy since it's "FREE". How you decide (as a Silver or Gold) what items might be worth requesting for the 20% or higher tax hit? I have not done my 2024 taxes yet, but I calculate that I'll pay 25% of the total ETV.
