DISCLAIMER this purely a thought exercise only. I have seen zero rumor or report don't sue me Disney. ✌️

On to the question:

Outside of Iman Vellani mentioning him, I haven't heard Feige mentioned for quite some time in the MCU. The current state of the MCU is not great. The Marvels is the worst performing box office by far, there are regular script/rewrite issues for movies, directors walking, COVID, writers strike, Oscar winner Mahershalla Ali almost walking, etc it's understandable he's not drawing attention to himself rn.

But it does feel like maybe he dosent have as much of a say as he did before. Productions since Endgame have been very hit or miss. Reviews describe the misses

So a while back I tried watching the new season, never having seen any Twin Peaks content before. 20mins into the first episode and I'm realising I'm waaaay out of the loop. 😅

This time I'm watching the original series from the start and the show seems waaaay more normal than I was expecting. It has that warm 90's colour saturation, and seems more of a standard slow burn who done it.

I'm a big of Lynch's other works like, Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway, I'm up to episode 7 so far and the weirdest thing so far is Agent Cooper & how much Shelly looks exactly like actress Lily James..

So when does the acid trip kick in? 😅

Did I miss a patch or something?

I'm on console and this audio is garbage. It seems like they are trying to have the audio balance relative to the the camera, but is there anyway to turn that off??

I have my dialogue adjusted the highest, music the lowest, and effect somewhere between, but still cut scenes are impossible. If it's open world dialogue a fucking river or bristling tree will drown it out, or a random NPC will sound like he's inside my asshole shouting obscenities even tho I've galloped past him.

Cut scenes are worse, the game can't even keep consistent with itself, within the cut scene. Music will be 10x the volume it was immediately before the cut scene, or change midway

Everybody is sleeping on these outlier series. Helstrom is fucking amazing. The cinematography is 👌, the acting is superb (all around better than the Netflix shows), the mood/atmosphere is exactly what I want to see from the supernatural side of Marvel. Helstrom is easily better than anything Disney+ has put out.

In my eyes the top level Marvel related shows would be, in no particular order:

  • Jessica Jones (Season 1)
  • Daredevil
  • Helstrom
  • Hit Monkey
  • Hawkeye
  • Punisher
  • Loki
  • Cloak n' Dagger

Bottom line, if you are miffed with where the MCU is currently then check out Helstrom and these others on Disney+ 👍

I have planted some seedlings approx 3 weeks ago, but they still have not sprouted. They had been in storage for about two and a half years (dry in sealed baggies), I treated them with isopropyl alcohol before planting in a heated humidity/seedling tray + 2x jiffy pods on the windowsill.

Any tips on how to get them to sprout?

  • Fresno
  • Bonds Ma Jaques

While I'm waiting for my PS4 to be repaired, can anyone recommend some good let's play. I'm new to the Witcher so ideally someone who's exploring all the cool details or like getting right into the world and atmosphere.

Any recommendations?

Reading through Destiny of X recently and into Sins of Sinister, I was thinking to myself how cool it is. Not only are we getting so many great X-books but the Krakoa era is giving us full runs showcasing characters usually on the periphery. When the MCU finally kicks into its mutant phase and all the new readers are asking "..I really like characterX what comics should I read?", how many of you are going to be referring them to the Krakoa era?

  • Sinister - is at his peak
  • Mystique and Destiny - Being on the council has made them spolight characters, Destinys Immort

The Gaurdians movies have always had banger sound tracks, and earth music is such a part of Quills story right from the first movie. Gunn came out and said the theme was 90's - 2000's music, but idk some of the music choices felt very weak or I'll fitting, compared to the previous two films.

Like they give us Faith No More (in the statue of liberty scene) but it's "we care a lot" not the far superior "Epic" or "Easy like Sunday Morning"?! I understand music rights cost money, and those songs are VERY famous, but for that particular scene, the appropriately named "Space Lord" by Monster Magnet would have been waaaay more iconic.

We didn't get a single Soundgarden song through the whole movi
