Hi folks, we had this on our school computers back in the late 90s. It was an American school in Europe that had 90s Macintosh desktops.

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a purely educational game (ie number muncher).

The premise was you were a trader in the Mediterranean and you had to buy olives or wine etc and sell them somewhere else, trying to make profit I think. I’m not sure what the end goal was but would love the nostalgia kick to play it again if possible.

It was def more management sim than action.

Thanks!

Hi Support (💜)

I’m trying to figure out two things

  1. the differences between a SLL and a TPL when either buying or selling.

  2. If either is good for triggering a market buy order above a specific price, which I’d want to use to buy into a breakout from a resistance level.

==

Both support pages for Kraken Pro describe SLL and TPL in exactly the same language with near identical examples involving the limit price being below the stop price , and both order examples are about selling.

Does this mean they are the same thing? If not, what is the actual difference?

Is it the definition of ‘better’ when describing the way the limit order is filled after the trigger/stop price is hit?

Bonjour/Hi - I’m staying near Quatre-Bornes for 2 months until end of Jan and would like to find a regular game, club with a social event and ideally a coach I can have one some lessons with to stay sharp.

I can drive to wherever, but the clubs and courts I’ve found on Google maps all have either no website/facebook or it hasn’t been updated in years

Any tips??? Merci!

I’ve been working on my serve a fair bit this year, both with a coach and online resources, and the big change recently has been using the legs more to drive power up and forwards into contact.

My flat and topspin serves are seeing the benefit, and I even broke a still-healthy-string recently for the first time in a long time.

However, I’m often finding my elbow locking hard at contact, as if the final part of my motion reaching up to ball is throwing my arm out as straight as it can go.

This is starting to get painful, and occasionally I need to ice after play which I have never had to do before.

Is this just a technique practice thing to make sure my arm is always slightly bent at con

The only reason Dragonball has a story beyond the meeting with Freeza and Ginyu force is because of Dende healing Saiyans at near death which allowed Vegeta, Gohan and Goku to power up massively in a short space of time.

Whilst they did ‘life hack’ this a couple of times during the Namek saga, once Dende was killed by Freeza it seems like they forgot about it.

When Trunks comes back to warn of the androids, or even in Trunks’ own timeline, why did they not go back to Namek or wish Dende (or another healer class Namekian) to Earth and just:

  1. blast each other to near death (like Kururin did to Vegeta on Namek)
  2. have Dende heal them (faster than waiting for senzu beans to harvest)
  3. Rep

The 60% trap is an awkward cliff edge in tax bands, trigging much debate and tactics to try and work around for those with incomes over 100k.

How should it be better structured?

  1. Leave the personal allowance in place for those earning >100k, but simply add more progressively increasing tax bands from 100k up. So instead of 40% from 50-125, it’s 40% up to 100, then 45 to 125, then 50 from there and maybe more even higher…

  2. Start tapering the personal allowance off much earlier. Instead of 1£ for every 2£ earned over 100k, make it £0.10 for every £2£ over 50k or something like that. I haven’t done the exact maths but you get the idea.
