I geniunely don't understand the purpose of the estate.

It seems like it's just an instanced house that you can decorate the outside of as well as the inside garage? is that right? Is that all there is to it - letting players do house decoration?

Why do i get a message every day in my 'daily payouts' about an 'Estate Reward' of 200cr? 200cr is not worth the time it takes to click on a message... How would I increase this amount?

Are there people making millions of credits from the Estate somehow?

In Eliminator, the minimap has some new features... does anyone know the explanation for why sometimes player dots will flash as a star? There are several types of stars. How does this effect gameplay? My best guess is that it has something to do with the players current skill chain, but I don't understand why other Eliminator players would care..?

Also the size of the player dots seems to change? sometimes a dot is bigger... why?

Lastly, has anyone else had difficulty challenging a player even though they are eligible for a race? I feel like about 30% of the time the horn does nothing, even though the player is not currently changing cars or racing other players.... maybe this is

I've been using a Logitech K120 for years and love everything about it except the noise. I'm on the phone a lot and the keys are too loud. I also sleep within sight of my PC so if there are any LEDs they need to be something that can turned off permanently.

Here are my hard requirements:

Must have:

- Wired USB only, no wireless, no charging, no pairing

- Full size 100% layout: numpad, navigation cluster, function row, the works. Nothing compact or rearranged

- F-row grouped as F1-F4 / F5-F8 / F9-F12 with gaps between groups (like the K120) so I can navigate by feel without looking down

- Significantly quieter than the K120, which is the whole point. Not "quieter than a clicky mech

I have a business associate who is coming to my city and offered to take some colleagues and I to a 2-star meal. Since we know this city better than him, he asked me to book somewhere, with the expectation that he'll pay the bill when it arrives. Atioth hit over 10k players last night, and then the server just shit the bed. Everyone disconnected. I eventually got reconnected and gameplay resumed, but nothing actually 'worked right'.

My guess for what killed the node: Winter Co. brought Vexors and launched drones simultaneously from hundreds of ships. That's not a player count problem, it's an object count problem. The server suddenly has to track thousands of individual drones with their own physics, targeting logic, and aggression timers. TiDi can slow the simulation clock but it can't compress the state the server has to manage. You hit a hard ceiling and slowing time doesn't help you get past it.

Landed at Schiphol this morning, and was told that due to the snow that the luggage wouldn't be coming off the plane anytime soon. (We sat at the luggage carrousel for an hour before learning that "delayed" meant we should just give up.)

The KLM worker recommended going home and filling out a lost luggage report so that it can be delivered later. Now I'm home, but all day I've een unable to submit the lost luggage report because of a website error. I filled out all the info, but then when it's time to hit the final 'submit', it says "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later". I'm worried that I'll never get my luggage if i can't even submit a report.

I'm coming back to EVE after a long break. My oldest character is from 2009, but I’ve played on and off over the years, most heavily from 2015-2021. Just got back to find Horde is gone, and honestly, that’s fine... I’m kinda fatigued on nullsec blocs anyway. I want to live in a wormhole.

I’ve always enjoyed scanning, exploring, and cloaky stuff. I’ve done a lot of solo PvE in C13s, and sleeper sites in wolf-rayets with vulfpeck. BLOPs is fun, but I also like PvE and industry. I’m looking for a mature group living in a C4/C5/C6 with experienced wormholers who know what they’re doing.
