I have a coworker who has exhibited several harassing behaviors that I haven't reported yet due to being an introvert and other personality defects that make me not eager to cause negative consequences to someone who does these things. One of the reasons I haven't reported the full list of behaviors or firmly confronted this coworker is because I know from her previous behavior that she will feign outrage, cry, and otherwise make me very uncomfortable. I am going to talk with management today about something unrelated and I'm going to bring up some of this behavior. I know doing this could cause a chain of events where I am compelled to report everything. If this happens should I include the

Hello fellow Bastardnaughts!

I'm moving steadily through my binge of this whole series and I am currently on the June 13, 2023 episode (The War on Vagrants with Margaret Killjoy). Robert mentioned that people he talked to in Iraq could not imagine people being abandoned by family and community like our houseless people are. This touches on my own pet cause of social isolation in America in the last couple of decades.

Anyone around here who is smarter than me: do you know any books, podcasts, YouTube channels, bazooka Joe comics, or any other media where I can learn how the way we treat this issue is different in cultures where they weren't born already in the boiling water of our own anti

1 Thessalonians is one of my favorite books. I consider it the foundation the New Testament rests upon as it was in circulation before any of the gospels were put on paper. I imagine a small church in Thessalonians who heard countless and contradictory rumors about Jesus having nothing but these five chapters to rely on until copies of the other epistles arrive years later. Anytime I put aside my vanity and dive back into the Bible I reread 1 Thessalonians before anything else.

Obviously, today is day that makes many of us remember the things that are really important. What stood out to me today is quite different than my previous passes through this book.

I have to be back at work in 10 m

I want that fucking mushroom burger it was so good, but I don't want to be checking every day for something that could be years away. When do they try new things?

I've watched a lot of his videos recently and he often confidently states something like this. That people invent meaning for the Bible or that people are incorrect about the correct meaning of the Bible because there is no correct meaning of the Bible.

In my experience as a layperson, it seems like all of the books of the Bible agree on quite a bit and the differences can be pretty easily smoothed away as different aspects of Theology or the same story being told with different easily identifiable biases. I often agree with the specific points in McClellan's videos, but not because there is no meaning, but because there is a meaning that commentators often miss because they never cite larg

I'm writing an adventure for paladins with different backgrounds who are very similar on paper, but will find in reality traveling together will challenge their beliefs and forge them into stronger, more thoughtful, champions. I'm having a lot of fun building temples and shrines to different gods and communities and interesting npcs based on those faiths, but when it comes to the oaths there is some significant overlap. It seems like these paladins wouldn't disagree until SEVERAL rounds of drinks and then asking, in detail, why they made ultimately the exact same decisions. It seems like vengeance would be the easiest to tempt, but even a vengeance paladin piloted by reasonably intelligent p
