Hi, I started taking methylprednisone today for sudden hearing loss (SSHL), 3*16mg, I'm 80kg young male, about 3 hours after I took them I started feeling pain in my lower back and it hasn't stopped. Every site I looked it up in just said to call my doctor without explaining what the risks are or why it could be happening, they mention some vague statements about osteopenia and osteoporosis with long term treatment. I spoke with the doctor that saw me and a pharmacist and they both said the pain comes from something else because these pills are supposed to help with pain, not cause it. I am not sure if I need to do something about this, I took paracetamol for the pain but it hasn't kicked in

Hi, yesterday I woke up with dizziness and a feeling that my right ear is clogged, my hearing is altered and there is some buzzing in that ear when near sources of low frequency noise. The dizziness was minor, sometimes when I was walking or getting up I felt dizzy but nothing serious and it was gone when I woke up today. Side note, I have tinnitus chronically since I was a kid, presumably because of childhood leukemia treatment (chemotherapy/radiation) so I can't really say if that was a factor cause I always have it, I think it was more intense when I woke up though. As far as I know I don't have meniere's disease.

Basically what it says in the title. For about a month ~ish the dogs have an issue with their paws but my parents can't take them to a vet and I don't live close, they gave them a pill for ticks, fleas, etc but it didn't work so it's not that. First it was just one and then the other started as well but to a smaller extent, I saw on the internet it could be many things but from what they tell me there are no wounds or inflammation.

The exact model is Samsung LE32B450, it's old and low end but they don't want to replace it if possible, they don't care about picture quality.

The standby LED not working means it's probably a power issue? I checked the cable and the power outlet and both work fine so I opened the TV and took some pictures of the PCBs here, right click view image in new tab to get higher resolution.

I don't see anything wrong with the capacitors and there isn't any obvious damage anywhere, I switched the fuse but it wasn't that either. The little PCBs on the side with the buttons and the indicator LED seem fine too.

My Engie decided to ditch his meat suit for something more advanced, there seems to be a bug though he just keeps saying EXTERMINATE, EXTERMINATE...

When I open a reddit post linking to a youtube video, regardless if I use the RES expando or just open the post, the video gets automatically paused by vivaldi, it starts downloading, which means RES started playing the video but then it instantly gets paused by the browser. In every other browser I've tested with the videos play normally, how can I do this on vivaldi? Settings for RES are the same across all browsers (imported).

I believe there is one thing that I am obligated by Reddit law to say about this...NICE!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here tried to play the division and had constant flickering lights and occasionally strobe lighting effects and ever found a fix for it.

Googling the issue it's apparently a problem with radeon hd 5/6k series graphics cards, which I own one of those and there is not really any solution that I found besides buying a new card. I tried lowest settings and I edited the configuration files of the game to make it even worse and nothing worked except turning the indoor setting from 1 to 0 which disables most lightning indoors (the effects are worst inside buildings) and makes the game semi unplayable.
