Just finished checking my valve clearances at 8,000km on my interceptor 650.
Not one of them was even close to being in tolerances. Funnily they were all way too tight.This is the first check I have done since the run in service at 2,000km. Seriously noticeably different ride after doing it. Would recommend for anyone who hasn't done them since the first service.
Easy DIY job. Parts needed:
Set of feeler gagues. 10mm spanner 14mm Allen socket 10mm socket 17mm socket 8mm socket Permatex no.2 gasket sealant 4mm Allen key
Clearances for intake valves is 0.08mm and clearances for exhaust valves is 0.18mm.
Took me about 2hrs at a pretty relaxed pace.
Get to it!

I'll start, I love the fact that our sporting culture is super inclusive of people who have moved here from other countries. And that people who aren't dedicated sports fans can have a day with their friends and just enjoy the atmosphere and support whoever they want

Hey guys, not sure if this is the best place to ask but someone in the industry might have an answer. We have a build going next door. And they have been wreaking absolute havoc with our property and our possessions. The reason now for me asking is this is the 4th time they have sprayed my partners car with concrete over the fence and its dried on the paint. We told the guy the first time and he said he will pay for a cut and polish. But it keeps happening. This is just one in a long line of things that have happened.
As were in Victoria, who do we escalate this to? Is it a matter for VCAT? does anyone have a real answer to this because we've been civil so far, don't wanna be "that guy next

just spent 4 days riding the Ha Giang loop in Northern Vietnam. put this on your bucket list if you haven't done it. done on a Honda CRF150L. Has me questioning why I ride a 650cc at home. Realised bigger displacement does not = bigger fun.
