I am thinking about buying the ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro.

I currently have CenturyLink but would prefer to use my own device for more control.

Does the ROG Rapture specifically support VLAN Tagging on the WAN ports to support this without using their device as a bridge? If it helps, I wouldn’t mind doing MAC cloning if it’s locked to a specific MAC address.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone. I have been tasked with building two PCs that accomplish the same goal with two different budgets. One is $500-$700 (I don’t think it’s really feasible) and the other being $800-$1200.

There are three goals I have thought of

1. It needs to be able to handle tools that can used in PenTesting
2. Can have enough speed to support remoting into machines
3. (Not required but desired) Support virtualization. I know this required more resources so I understand if it can’t be accomplished
4. Can be used in cyber competitions
5. We can use just about any OS

Let me know what parts you recommend as I will personally be using these as well as my team.

Thanks for your help in advance a

So I'm looking for a laptop with the following criteria and I just can't find it. I'll put it in order of most important. I also don't care about price so lay it on me

1. Thinness. I want something that isn't clunky and that is my number 1
2. I don't want a monitor and I'd like to have a 4k screen
3. Rtx 2080 card. Not the qmax crap but an actual card.
4. 17.3 in screen I don't mind brand so whatever you guys know of, I'll take a look at but if you could help out that'd be awesome!
