I had a test at the beginning of June that I failed with one serious. I asked my brother to look for cancellations for me while I was at work. Now completely my fault I didn’t mention that I didn’t want a test in July because I haven’t driven since my test and its very short notice. He found and booked a cancellation for 11th July which is in TWO WEEKS. I genuinely didn’t think a test in two weeks was an option. Monday is the last day to cancel. Do you think I should cancel based on the fact I haven’t driven in close to a month and the last time I did was a failed test? Any advice is much appreciated

Hi All. As the title says I have a little over a month till my test. But I don't think I have chance in hell of passing it.

I did around 15 to 20 hours of lessons back in 2023, then stopped driving for personal reasons. Last year, I decided I was ready to start again, so I retook my theory and booked a test for May. Since then, I’ve found a new instructor and have done about eight hours of lessons.

The problem is I don’t feel any closer to being test ready than I did in 2023. If anything, I feel further off. Today was probably my worst lesson so far. We started with dual carriageway U turns, and I really struggled to find a safe gap. That made me panic, especially when drivers behind came

Please can someone send the dramatized version up to what is out and then the rest can be the normal version. Also can I have the name to the ‘site/sites’ that everyone talks about on here. Thank you endlessly!

Hi everyone. I recently finished my third placement after failing my second. Had such a hellish time at the second one that I’m not even sure that this career is still for me. However that is a story for another day. But just in case I wanted to know how long it takes to actually get the QTS and be legally able to work after finishing. I know people who finish in june have the whole summer to have all the paperwork side sorted. Realistically can everything be done by the time schools open again in jan?
