Currently on a road trip...almost 11pm. Tried to use an unbranded hotel charger (with Duosida J1772 handle) and it is stuck in the car. The emergency release under the hood does not help. OnStar says there is nothing they can do. The "pin" looking thing that comes down from the top inside the car moves a bit with a screwdriver. I assume that is what the release cable is supposed to pull up, when working properly. Is that correct? Also, there is an opossum sitting 15 feet away in the bushes staring at us and making noise while we deal with this!
