There's a flood of people asking the same question at the moment. Can we please put the minimum recommended Dubai transfer time (1hr) in the sidebar or somewhere prominent?

We have premium economy tickets for flights in three weeks’ time, and I thought I’d see what the damage would be to upgrade to business class using cash. When using either the website or the Emirates app to manage the booking and clicking on upgrade, the system responds by saying that the option’s not available online and I’d need to talk to customer service.
I’ve checked on ExpertFlight and there are plenty of seats available in the business cabin on all of the legs on our flights. Does anyone know why I can’t upgrade online or via the app? Does this only become available closer to the date or something?
Recently updated to iOS 18.6.2 on my phone and WatchOS 11.6.1 on my Ultra 1, and ever since I'm finding that notifications have been queuing up to be delivered - nothing shows up for hours on the watch and then all of a sudden they all come through at once. Notifications are working fine on all my other devices (phone, iPad), just not the watch. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with my wifi network (everything is connected as it normally is, including the watch) or bluetooth (it doesn't matter how close or how far away I am from my phone).
Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?
I have a couple of jerseys I need to get repaired - does anyone know of a clothing repair or alteration shop that is able to work with lycra, preferably inner suburbs/northside?
About to pull the trigger on buying a tool that will allow me to replace my Campy Record bottom bracket bearings. The obvious choice is the Park Tools CPB-8. I haven’t been able to find much discussion of this tool’s alternatives online though. While I’m sure it’ll get the job done (like all Park stuff), is there anything else out there I should consider, especially tool options that don’t require a bit of percussive force to seat the bearings?
I'm of the school that situational awareness is a primary concern when on the bike, whether in a group or out solo. So to date, I've stayed clear of wearing headphones even when out on long solo rides.
But with the advent and maturity of bone conducting headphones, and the fact I'm seeing more people wearing them, I'm starting to reconsider. Having something to listen to while out on the road for 5 hours of solo Z2 would be nice, but I very much want to be aware when a vehicle is coming up from behind.
What are the thoughts from those of you who've tried them, or regularly use them. Are bone conducting headphones adequately safe? And if so, are they any use out on the open road with wi

theguardian.com/business/grogonomics/2024/nov...Hello to the Eve staff who check in here occasionally.
Is there any update on an ETA for the next version of the Motion Blind firmware? Waiting on two fixes for bugs from the December Matter update: incorrectly reported low battery warning and inability to use adaptive shading in the southern hemisphere. We were told back in January that these are resolved in the upcoming firmware, but it just needed Matter certification.
Ladies and gentlemen: I give you the kind of character fees of $42,000 per year can instil.
theguardian.com/australia-news/article/2024/j...Siri is meant to operate seamlessly across devices - according to Apple, devices use bluetooth to negotiate which one should handle a Siri request, based on either which one was raised most recently, or which heard the request most clearly.
This hasn't been working at all for months now. Requests to my watch get picked up by my iPad in another room. Or all three of my phone, iPad and watch all try to respond at the same time. Bluetooth is enabled and working on all devices (I've taken my HomePod minis out of the loop by disabling Siri on them), they all have the latest OS. It's ridiculous.
Anyway - has anyone experienced this and fixed it, other than turning off Siri or bluetooth on va
I've lodged a support ticket with Eve, but was wondering if anyone else has had issues with the new adaptive shading feature for Eve's MotionBlinds? I'm experiencing an issue where the blinds are moved to the completely open position when I would expect the blinds to move to the shaded position (ie. the sun is directly shining through the window). I've set up all of the parameters across all of my six blinds, including experimenting with different values for Close Position, but the behaviour is identical for all of them: as soon as the sun starts to hit the window, the blinds move to a completely open position.
I was wondering if the issue is with being in the southern hemisphere and wher
