I often see her books recommended, however I find it hard to find proper discussion posts about her books. Is there much interest for a sub-reddit all about her books and characters?

On a separate note, i've read Heat, Olivia, The Last Hour of Gann, Cottonwood and Land of the Beautiful Dead. Really hard to choose a favourite, but it would have to be TLHOG I think, closely followed by LOTBD.

What are your favourite books by her? Any books in her catalogue you would recommend next?

Just wondering if anyone else was anticipating the third book in this series? I saw on Lyn's Facebook that the third book is finished (omg) but no clue as to the release date.

Does anyone know anything more about the release of the book?

Does anyone know the filming location of the ocean pool the gang swim in at the end of season 1? I know there are a few ocean pools in Sydney but wondered if anyone knew the exact one? Thanks!

Goblin love interest

Book Request 📚

I've been thinking of a book I read years ago called The Hollow Kingdom by Clare B Dunkle. The male love interest is a literal goblin and depicted as quite unattractive to human eyes, although I absolutely fell in love with his personality and the relationship between him and the female main character.

I'm looking for a romantic fantasy book with a goblin male love interest! Or someone goblin coded I guess (I'd say Brishen in Grace Draven's Radiance is pretty goblin coded, for example). A different race to the human female main character, perhaps initially unattractive to her, but quite clever and funny. There seem to be a lot of books out there with Orc love interests, but I haven't seen

Just wondering how everyone balances books they haven't read before on their tbr list and re-reading books you've already read.

Do you re-read books when you're going through a reading slump to get you out of it? How do you deal with having a seemingly neverending tbr list?

I feel guilty wanting to re-read a bunch of books I've already read, some of them I read for the first time relatively recently. But my tbr is so huge I feel like I'll never get through it if I'm constantly re-reading books I've already read.

Anyone else agree?

Just purchased a game on Origin (Sims Medieval deluxe pack) and when I went to my library, it says that my Mac system doesn't support 32-bit games. But this wasn't mentioned anywhere before I bought the game??

Is there something I can do to fix this?

I'm in a bit of a strange situation. I paid a 2 week bond for a room in a sharehouse where the owner rents out each room individually and has a separate occupancy agreement with each person. I was supposed to move in on the 16th and was unable to do so because the cleaning that was promised to take place didn't happen...

2 days later and the room still hadn't been cleaned and I'd spotted some other red flags that made me want to get out of the agreement. I never moved in and told her I wanted my bond back. She didn't react very well but didn't tell me I owed her any further money, but she has also ignored my requests to return the bond.

My question is, do I have a right to request the bon

Has anyone done non-degree study before? Specifically for Science undergraduate? I just got accepted and offered a place but I'm wondering how it all works, and if anyone can offer any advice.

Just wondering if anyone else has gone through a book hangover recently, and what they did to get over it?

I absolutely devoured the whole Big Bad Wolf series by Charlie Adhara, and even read Pack of Lies straight after. I picked up the series without expecting much and was blown away by the characters in these books and the slow progression of the core relationship. Love the mystery aspect too. But now I'm going through the worst book hangover I've had in ages! I've picked up and quickly put down 3 or 4 books and haven't been able to focus on anything.

What do you do when you've got a book hangover? How do you decide what you're in the mood to read next when you can't stop thinking abou

Alien slow burn

Book Request

I've been really craving a slowburn story with a human and alien MMC, something that doesn't focus too much on the physical side of things but really takes the time to build emotionally (smut and no plot/substance just doesn't do it for me).

I really enjoyed Lyn Gala's Earth Fathers series, but not so much her Claimings series (could't get past the first book). I've also read 5th Gender and enjoyed aspects of that book, but felt like the romance between the characters came about a bit abruptly.

I quite like the alien MMC to look, well, 'alien'. Or inhuman. I don't mind darker themes or a certain level of angst, I'm just not a massive fan of insta-love.

I've really scoured lists and recom

I appreciate the eunuch part might be a bit niche, but I've just finished the Sword Dance trilogy by A.J. Demas and absolutely loved it! I loved both the main characters, but I thought it was so interesting that one of them was a eunuch and genderfluid, and how thr author handled their relationship. I'm wondering if anyone has any other recs out there of similar books? I really enjoyed the historical setting too, set in a pseudo-ancient Greece.

Hey everyone! So I'm reapplying with EPIK and have my interview tomorrow. I want to change my preferred location to Busan but I've seen conflicting things on whether I'm eligible to apply for there. You need 50 hours of in-class experience (which I didn't have when I did my TEFL) BUT I'm a current EPIK teacher. Does this year of experience enable me to put down Busan as an option?
