I bike a lot and like to wear an earbud in one ear to listen to music or podcasts. I used Sennheiser MTW3s for this for the last 2 or so years, and the wind performance and sound quality was very good, but the left side died and the right side doesn't charge half the time. The battery life and sound quality of the tecnics appeals to me, but I've seen some comments about bad performance in wind. Does anyone have them that can confirm this?

Coming back into Canada without Car Insurance

:22px-Flag_of_British_Col:British Columbia

I left on a trip to the states on May 13th. My car insurance expired on the 17th and I forgot to renew it. I'm coming back into Canada later today, and I can't renew my insurance online because it's expired. What are my options? Just hope that the border agent doesn't check for insurance? I know driving without insurance is risky, but I feel like I don't really have any other options.

I'm currently 3 weeks into a 4 week vo2 block with 2 sessions per week. Weekly volume has been around 18 hrs. The first two weeks went well, with significant power increases each workout, however last week I made the mistake of doing a lifting session after not going to the gym for a few months. It's now been 4 days since that session, with a full rest day on Sunday. I've tried to do my 4 min intervals the last two days, but I haven't been able to get past one interval. My legs just give out before I even really get to what feels like vo2 max breathing or heartrate.

Wondering what the best thing to do at this point is. I don't plan to go back to the gym until the end of this block, but I'm

I'm fairly new to making ice cream, and recently made an almond butter ice cream with the following recipe:

  • 500 mL milk
  • 250 mL cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 250 mL almond butter
  • 1g guar gum

It seemed promising and the texture was good after churning, but after leaving it in the freezer overnight it turned into an absolute brick. The texture is ok after leaving it out for a bit but I feel like it shouldn't be this firm. Anyone have ideas what the problem might be? My only thought is maybe not enough time churning and thus not enough air mixed into the base, but it could be a recipe issue as well maybe.

With fall upon us in the PNW I've been splitting time between my Tacx Neo trainer and riding outside, where I use a left-side 4iii power meter. I recently did a 30 minute ride, recording both trainer power and crank power, and the crank measured 255W avg while the trainer was at 270W avg. This correlates to my recent interval experiences outside where it's felt really hard to hold power targets that I thought should be reasonable based on my past power data.

Has anyone else had discrepancies with their 4iii meter, and was there a way to fix it? I mostly just want to have consistent power between outdoor and indoor, but obviously it's nice for the numbers to be accurate as well. The neo seem

I have an Emonda alr 5 (2024 model) as my only drop bar bike and am trying to do a bit of cyclocross racing this fall. I know they say the clearance is 28 but wondering if anyone has had any luck fitting cross tires on this frame.
