Trying to understand some of the interactions with some of the cards I'm looking to play and curious to make sure I have this correct.

So Hidden Blade says, "Kill a unit at a battlefield, Its controller draws 2."

Part 1:

If a player reacts by killing the chosen target, I'm under the assumption that the player that had been controlling it cannot draw as the card is no longer controlled at the time of resolution. This is based on the following sections in the CRM:

563.2.c.8 "If the spell checks information about a target that is no longer valid or a card or permanent whose location, zone, or status has changed such that that information is no longer available, that check returns 'zero' or

Just figured I'd post a reminder since it seems to have slipped under many people's radar: the decklist submission deadline was bumped forward to 8PM local time (EST) for this event and likely going forward (previous events had the deadline at midnight).

If you are attending the event make sure you fill out the google form in your ticket confirmation email to submit your decklist before 8PM PA time. Also don't forget to sign up for the event on Best Coast Pairings using the BCP code sent in the follow up email.

Just got back from the launch event at my LGS and several people were talking about going to Palm Springs this weekend. Apparently it is not well known, or has been overlooked by a number of people but deck registration is due on friday, before midnight (11:59 PM, Friday Night) the event. The link to submit your deck list as well as fill out your player information was sent in the ticket confirmation email. Potentially a round 1 loss if you forget to do this.

Looks like I'm a bit late lol. Discovered the game a few weeks ago and initially started this to allow me to draw some sample hands from a deck. I ended up building out a small game state tracker to goldfish a saved deck.

The deck builder is lacking as most of the effort so far has been put into the tester. Both are still WIP, but it's functional enough I figured I'd let people mess around with it in the weeks before the official game release.

Will get around to implementing proper card filters/search and generally cleaning up the UI.

So this is the first time I've seen something like this that I can recall lol. Dude starts off playing pretty standard. Makes an effort to scout with things like obs and hallucinated phoenix, until we enter a weird base trade situation. Midway through the base race, I start getting sketchy vibes with how this guy constantly is avoiding me. Also dude makes like 90% of his unit movements through the minimap.

dude has something like a 80% win rate vs all having not played for several months until the last few days.

3:05 - Only sketchy thing that occurs before the game goes sideways. Sends out adapt, but returns to natural righ

Heyo, just curious as to what the community's consensus is as to which is the better "competitive" game lol. Long time SC2 player and Red Alert was basically my childhood.

Started off playing Tiberium Dawn and seems like it's generally well agreed among those on the ladder that NOD is the way to go with recon bikes and buggies being the dominant strat.

How's the England vs USSR in RA going?

Edit: I guess to answer my own question, it is looking like Red Alert lol.
