i’ve been re-listening to the endgame episodes and it’s reminded me that alex really is in peak form when he’s shouting random shit into a megaphone on a street corner. seeing him in his insanely high-budget studio feels like seeing a zebra in a gilded cage. he should be running free in the savanna. now that his mad godking has turned on him and his whole world is collapsing, maybe he can pivot to standing outside the white house gates hollering about trump being a stooge of the globalists or something. (it probably won’t happen, but i can dream.)

there is a correct answer btw
There show is full of movie references and inspiration from iconic horror films, but recently I’ve been thinking about how the characters would experience that kind of media in-universe after everything they went through. I imagine each character has at least a couple movies they just can’t watch anymore because something hits a little too close to home.
For example, The Exorcist would probably bring back bad memories for Will (plus Joyce and Jonathan) after season 2, The Blob might be extra disturbing for anyone who fought the Mindflayer at Starcourt, and some of them might find Freddy Krueger a little too reminiscent of Vecna to enjoy the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise anymore. I
i’m playing through the dawnguard “bloodline” quest (AE, nintendo switch) and i’m stuck — i can’t get the watchman at castle volkihar to recognize serana, and i’m pretty sure it’s because i already discovered the castle prior to starting the quest.
i’m not on PC so console commands aren’t really an option. i did consider reverting to an earlier save from prior to releasing serana, but by that point those autosaves had already been overwritten. i can only go back to right after leaving the crypt, or back to an earlier save that would mean losing a few days’ worth of game progress, so i’d rather avoid doing that unless i’m totally out of other options. any suggestions?

it’s just grammatically and etymologically incoherent; “gravity” obviously wasn’t a word newton just pulled out of his ass. come on. i’ll happily accept a nearly endless number of ridiculous premises and absurd plot contrivances when it comes to doctor who, that’s an integral part of the viewing experience, but i guess everyone draws the line somewhere.
i don’t have the faintest idea where RTD is heading with it* (i’ve found i personally enjoy the show more when i keep my speculation and theorizing to a minimum - i’ll leave that to someone else), but i feel like however it plays out, i’ll probably end up staying obstinately irked about it on principle.
*that said, if anyone’s got theories
