Sharing my film - I wanted to make a movie about the stars, but it evolved into an investigation of the reality of violence within the beauty of the universe.

Because of the subject matter, quantum physics became a conceptual framework: I explored the phenomenon of Schrödinger’s cat, where two states can exist simultaneously, and how the observer shapes the experience of the film, echoing the idea of superposition in quantum mechanics.

Inspiration also came from the Bhagavad Gita, Last Year in Marienbad, and diner movies popular in the 90s.

I recently bought the Serica 5303 - I like it, a lot. now here are my questions for anyone who has one.

1. the mesh strap is nice, but I wonder since it is not a bracelet style but instead opens up completely when removing, has anyone experienced unclasping in normal use? I worry it will and will fall off without my awareness
2. has anyone removed the strap? I tried found it very difficult even with the 6825 tool, I take it that it is not something one can interchange straps with?
3. sometimes the clasp is incredibly difficult to open, as in I cannot open it with my fingers and need a tool such a Swiss Army knife to pry it open. Has anyone else experienced that?

I am looking to sell my BMPCC6k with two canon lenses EF 24-105 F4 and EF-s 10-18, I think it's a great starter kit for getting into filmmaking. I am asking $1200, ideally meet up in Los Angeles. let me know your thoughts...

Has anyone found a workaround, i am trying to use it as a   ’midi’ only keyboard and bypass the m-audio drivers but the IAC device is not connecting to the keyboard. let me know any thoughts. thanks!

I have created a film (can’t share it here obviously because it still has some submissions pending :/) and it has been rejected By several festivals. I think the quality is high and many people i know professionally and also friends have said so. yet here I am throwing money away to just get rejected over and over. If their submission rate is so high my work is not even considered what’s the point in giving them my money? The odds of it even getting in are low and I tend to feel it is granted to people the film fest programmers know in some way. Also, festivals these days seem to want to promote certain themes/agendas/programming curation, so if your project is off

Hi, so i am having a debate with the sound engineer. I have come to start cutting dialogue to each clip of dialogue, cutting out all the spaces where there is dead air, cleaning out the clips with denoiser and then putting back in ambience of my choosing. This is the best way I find to get consistency. I thought this was sort of a standard practice. My sound engineer is saying to keep the dead air of the recording. That you’re supposed to keep all that and denoise less. I can agree with the denoise less aspect, i’m sure his ears are more sensitive than most and of course you start to lose quality. But the idea of keeping the recording through the dead air? Thqt seems sort of amateurish to me

Hi All, I am a beginner and I am stuck on viewport, before I was seeing textures in the viewport. I dont know if I pushed a button and it changed but now I can only see the icosehdron spheres and it is more difficult to navigate. Is there something I can do to switch back to texture? I tried to add a picture but it is not loading with the post.

HI All, a bit of a beginner with Cinema4d. I have an issue I was working and then suddenly my viewport is only showing the icosahedron wireframe for the objects. Before it showed the material. I am wondering if I hit a button and switched it and how to switch it back.

Does the control ring work in video? Does anyone have experience for this and where to do the settings? I have a canon rf lens 24-105 and an r5c.

Hi All, I thought this would be simple but am having trouble finding it. When I create a mask I can use the pen tool or I can create a box with the shape tool, but for some reason I can't create a mask with the ellipse tool. Could anyone point me in the right direction. Thank you!
