I have a Fenix 7S. I believe that there have been a couple of software updates in maybe the last six weeks. It seems to me like the heart rate monitoring is not as responsive as it used to be. Sometimes when I exert myself, I don't see the heart rate on the watch go up for quite some time. It's like the sampling rate has gone down or something. I have noticed that if I touch the heart icon on my watch face (perhaps touching any spot on the screen would have the same effect) it seems to force it to update or something; basically it will be more responsive than if I had not done so. Do others notice this or anything similar to this? Thanks.

Hello, my first post here. I have a 7S that I got a few months back. I am still slowly learning how to use it. I occasionally read the manual when I am really confused but mostly I just try to discover how to use it by trial and error. Anyway, while I use it mostly to track my heart rate and my athletic activity, right now I have a load of laundry in the dryer in another room. I set a timer on my 7S so that I would remember to take it out and put the load that is currently in the washer into the dryer. When I swipe up on my watch, I see a number of things like weather, sunset time, elevation/barometer, training status, etc., but not the running timer. I see an Edit button at the bottom and I

Hello I am wondering if someone could tell me the time signature for this song.

Here is a recording: https://youtu.be/1R5gOSOs9nM

Just listening to it I would say that it is 3/4. But when I google “somebody loan me a dime time signature” the first thing that comes up is this link: https://www.sheetmusicdirect.com/se/ID_No/194702/Product.aspx and that is 4/4.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding what I am hearing. Would appreciate any clarification. Thank you.

i just rewatched parasites lost. it is one of my favorite episodes. it is one of my favorite pieces of storytelling period.

i know it's just 22 mins, i know it's got a lot of fart humor, juvenile antics, etc. but i can't help feeling that this is one of the most romantic things that i have ever seen. i haven't watched an episode of futurama in many years but i made sure to be able to watch this one when it popped back into my memory.

the way that >!fry plays the holo-phonor for leela!< is so moving... and then when >!she says that she loves what he's become, and he just has to find out what she feels without the worms!<, it really moves me... i think everyone who worked on this

I'm an intermediate alto player, and I have been doing long tones for a few weeks. I go from the bottom to the top of the chromatic scale and back down in 4/4 time at 60bpm holding each note for two measures.

After about every 6-8 notes I get a buildup of saliva in the mouthpiece and if I don't stop playing and suck it the sound goes bad.

I'm just wondering if this is normal and expected. I will understand if my saliva is perhaps on the higher side of average, but I would like to know if this is a common problem. The problem does exist for me during normal playing of charts but is definitely worse when I'm doing long tones. Thank you!

Over the past couple of years, I've read all or nearly all of John Grisham's catalogue. I greatly admire and appreciate his ability to tell a story simply and hook his reader in. I do believe that his intentions are anti-racist and based on authenticity of character, but I can't help but wonder if there comes a point when you just use that word too damn much. I am not black and I wish I had 100+ black readers I could poll who would give me their honest thoughts about his extensive use of the n-word. In all or nearly all of the instances I have read, it is used as a slur or epithet and with a hard "er" ending.

So, black r/books readers, what do you think? Please let me know.

It went really well. I had an appointment set up by my family doctor, and then I checked in at the appointment time using some kind of tablet kiosk, waited 20-25 mins, and got in to see the doctor.

I'd been really worried there would be an awful wait or I wouldn't get in at all, but it ran really smoothly. I'm thankful they were able to get me in and turn things around so quickly.
