Most people have been complaining about the grind, the balance, and whether or not this can be soloed.
While that is an annoyance, this post is not about those.
So, why do we have a very clunky target lockon, but no option to select nearest/farthest/aimed at/highest threat target, separate from the "share target with others" key?
Also, why does the enemy we aim over have no distance indicator when all our guns are extremely vulnerable to damage falloff and overheating?
That... was not what I expected out of a mostly quiet update in the middle of the evening, especially when walking into what was meant to be a completely silly new personal room.
Obviously, what follows is wild mass guessing.
Odd as it is, what I got reminded of was that old Orokin console text that pops up MARGULIS IMPLANTATION INTACT. Wonder if those are related? And how the funky space hat is connected to the whole thing?
