Reddit,

My toddler busted their nail awhile ago. I've been waiting for it to fall off but he just woke up because he ripped it off in his sleep.

Is there a particular treatment here? I imagine putting any sort of treatment on there he's just going to be messing with it.

Hello Dr. Reddit,

30s Male, non-smoker. No medical history of note.

I'm in the process of trying to get an ENT but looking for input until then because it could be weeks.

I experienced a freak accident last week where I fell resulting in my throat colliding hard with a blunt object. It felt like my Adams apple got shoved deep into my throat. Certainly painful (I don't recall any cracking/popping), all in localized area on my left side at, or just a tiny bit below, Adams apple and 'sore throat' type pain continued. I could speak though my voice was deeper/more raspy. No noticable bruising/swelling resulted and it progressively appeared to be getting better. I did not do vocal rest. This

Hey reddit,

I currently have cold air just pouring in through my oven range. The installation was done by the prior owner. I assume its a simply fix: install some sort of dampener.

As shown in the picture, the range motor connects directly outside, meaning there is zero ductwork. I do not see anything on the motor suggesting it has a built in dampener or some sort.

Outside there is simply a vent like this. In between the vent and the motor is probably 6-12 inches of open space (could not get a good picture through vent).

I think all I need is an exterior vent with a dampener, tho

Finally got to Mystic for the first time, feels good. Thank you all who play speed decks and other super annoying stuff I cannot beat for being offline this evening: I somehow won like 18/20 games.

As an aside, not sure why I don't see more people using a [[Voidcalled Devotee]]. I only saw one other person using them in hundreds of games. My entire deck is built around them. As a result, I win a large amount of games by Round 5 with them, or players straight up quit when I suddenly drop 5+ [[Cantor of the Refrain]].

A new combo that saved my streak again a "trying to deck you by staying alive deck" was a combo with:

[[Cantor the of Refrain]] [[Susurian Voidborn]] [[Timeline Culler]] [[As

I just encountered [Possibility Storm] for the first time. I thought it made perfect sense, but it did not pan out the way I thought. My understanding was that if I played a spell that [Possibility Storm] would start exiling my cards until it found a different spell of the same type and then I could play that card for free. However, that did not happen. It simply flipped through the cards and then said I could not play the exiled cards.

Effectively, it became a counterspell to every single card I tried to play from my hand and so I was forced to concede. What did I not understand?

Reddit,

Dealing with a frustrating oven installation problem of getting the gas, and now electric right.

I just got a new dual fuel range. At first, the gas line was the issue because it stuck up too high from the old oven resulting in it hitting the back of the oven, which meant altering its angle to accommodate the more constrained space behind the oven. A plumber put an elbow joint in get it to fit. It is resting ontop of the electric outlet, but the pipe has enough give to allow the plug and box to be removed (see picture from above).

The problem that has now revealed itself is that the electric box is hitting the gas intake valve (see picture under stove), meaning there is still abou

Hey reddit,

Looking for a new oven. I'm frankly not happy with anything I'm seeing. We currently have a dual range KitchenAid, the oven of which only works by triggering the closing mechanism with magnets, and now some circuit or something blew. I'm done with it. Spouse won't get induction because they're worried about cleaning despite what I have tried to explain to them about it.

Switching to all gas would be about $300 to change the outlet. I really like the idea of limited electronics to avoid repairs, so gas makes sense. But I've never used an all gas range. Environmental concerns are not negligible.

We'd like to not spend more than $7000

Our current options are:

Dual Fuel Cafe;

Replacing Fascia Board

Question? :snoo_thoughtful:

Hey reddit,

Looking to replace the Fascia Board on my rowhome---that thing facing the street right below the roof. It would just be for the side facing the street.

Can anyone share what they've paid for this? I'm getting around $3-4k. Any recommendations appreciated

Thanks!

Hey reddit,

Having a hard time figuring out what happening here. I can login to the Main network with my phone but not my computer. My computer can only login via the Guest Network.

I have troubleshooted the hell out of this, to the extent a non-tech guy can, am at at a loss. Done everything from simply factory resets to clear, to renewing DHCP lease, to inserting 1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8 as DNS servers.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Odd Circumcision

NSFWToddler 1-3 Years

Hey reddit,

Hoping someone with a circumsized boy will be able to relate as I am not sure what to make of this.

My kid's circumcision seemed to heal oddly. I had a feeling something was off when I first saw it post-op but didn't question it then because I had no idea what it's supposed to look like then. Essentially, under the shaft and below the head, the foreskin seems to have significantly 'clumped up'. This gives it a saggy look under the shaft; it bulges out when I push down his pad. It looks to just be excess skin. I do recall a small cyst thing forming at the very top of it, perhaps that contributed but it was looking the way it is now just minutes post-op.

Looking straight on,
