I just randomly thought how cool it would be if the “event” that Brandon has be the new “Gavilars feast” opening was also Gav.

If that angle of opening, retelling an event from different PoVs, is what he’s going for then the time Odium abducted him would be PERFECT.

Each book shows us a good portion of the visions, world, words, and manipulation Odium slowly used to change him. Idk how well it could resolve but I’m just fascinated by this idea.

Love the tech tree as it exist, especially with the Omega/expansion upgrades. I especially love the flexibility of how easy it is to sub in older or home brew tech cards. There’s minimal printing/taping needed for it since the cards aren’t shuffled!

BUT

While TI4 is a confusing and complex game, I feel the tech tree is where it’s become the most confusing for a lot of new players. Knowing how the tree is laid out and what to plan for is really tricky with just a stack of cards placed in front of you, even with a good teacher.

Even old players often need/want or have handy a Tree diagram during tourneys. I’ve seen some GREAT ones out there!!! But even then they often still aren’t totally c

Any advice on how to replace or make new cards?

I washed 2 of my Relics and wanted to remake them if possible as close to OG. If that's not reasonable then I know I can sleeve some printed copies, but what would be the best thickness of sleeve/card stock?

Looking for some specifics, like if need linen paper or something. Thankssss

Could a Shard "soul stamp" another Shard who had been thoroughly weakened?

We always scoff at the idea that any mortal could Soul Stamp a Shard, not because it's impossible but because you'd need a ridiculous amount of Investiture beyond anything anyone could access.

But a Shard could access it. Shards can also hideaway chunks of their Investiture or have chunks ripped away from them.

Ruin was this way for a long time, and now Preservation is this way. It's "weaker" then Ruin and is starting to affect Sazed. An infinite Shard is weaker then it's sibling.

So perhaps under these circumstances a Shsrd could do it. Though I THINK it would
