Edit: all done for now!

... and I wanted to thank all of you for the entertainment and information, and also shoutout the lovely hunters that hang around over at r/huntersbell for their help when things just got a little too annoying.

I plan to follow the example, beef up my character a bit more, and clear my NG+3 out so I can start jumping in and helping too.

Thanks again everyone! This community is awesome!

Has anyone else seen this problem with today’s (or any other) update?

Update appeared to be complete. iPad restarted, then once I entered my passcode to open my home screen, it locked up and then restarted to a “Press home to restore” screen where I was made to enter and then verify my passcode, but the keyboard was not visible on the screen. Once I managed that it is now “attempting to restore data” so we’ll see.

Edit: The data recovery process got it back. To clarify this was the update to version 11.2.1
