I contribute to a state pension retirement plan through my employer and make more than $87,000 a year.

Because of this, according to IRS regulations, I can't deduct any contributions to my personal traditional IRA. Should I just put $7,000 in a Roth IRA every year to maximize retirement savings?

Weird question, sorry if this isn't the right sub.

I paid my rent like I do every month via ACH on Dec. 1. One week later, the funds were still in my account. I called my bank, they opened a ticket. I reached out to the bank again today and they told me they didn't find any discrepancies on their end and closed the ticket.

What do I do? I'm kind of annoyed that this money is going to be basically hostage in my account for an indeterminate amount of time.

By "safe", I mean would I be able to freely withdraw those contributions without penalty?

The parent making child support payments is not listed on the 529 account. Would the deposits they make to my account still qualify as original contributions, and thus could be freely withdrawn by me without penalty? I'm not opposed to the idea, I just worry about what happens if my situation changes and I start needing all of the child support for short term expenses.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

My experience with the PSVR2 so far...

  1. Preordered months ago
  2. Buy GT7, Moss, and Horizon ahead of time
  3. Arrives on launch day, headset does not turn on
  4. Tested the accompanying controllers, they work fine
  5. Test the USBC port on my PS5 with multiple other devices, port works fine
  6. Spend an hour on the phone with Sony, who ask for proof of purchase. Of their $600 dollar console that I bought directly from them.

Sony's resolution; I wait while they send me a box to pack my dead unit in. I ship the dead unit to them, they test it or whatever. Based on those results, they either send back my fixed unit, or a new one.

All of this was done on 2/22. The tracking info

Baseball, football, wrestling, Marvel...doesn’t matter to me.

My brothers (who live elsewhere) have recently starting buying and sorting cards from our childhood, getting the good ones rated, and selling them. I want to join them in this endeavor.

Thanks.

Hear me out.

Pizza should be ubiquitous. Every great city has pizza joints of varying degrees of quality open at a various hours serving various clientele. The closer you get to downtown, the easier it should be to get a good, cheap slice ANY TIME OF DAY.

I’m out here trying to support local business at 7:45 pm on a Wednesday in the middle of downtown and no one wants my business. Time to call up Dominoes and hate myself in the morning.
