I’m 24 and farming full time in the UK, and honestly it feels impossible to have a life outside the farm. Everyone else seems to think I work a normal 9 to 5, but I’m checking stock late at night and up before most people even wake.

Trying to meet people or make plans is rough because no one really gets that I can’t just drop everything for a weekend away or a random night out.

If you’re a farmer, how do you balance it all relationships, hobbies, even just time to breathe? Right now it feels like farming takes every hour I’ve got.
