Hoping the community can help me out. Currently on book 4 of Reign of Winter. I've been adding some things for the players to help power them up as we go along. The front liner has some nice armor, the witch has been getting some extra spells that function as spell like abilities x times per day. The draconic bloodline bloodrager is about to get a pet dragonkin. The one im struggling with is the summoner. The eidolon is already pretty strong. This was a backup character so they dont have the same ties to the campaign that the original 3 did.

Im just looking for some suggestions on how to expand on the summoners power that isnt just giving them more evolution points. Any help is appreciated.

Just wondering if anyone has made or come across any custom made (prefer dungeondraft) maps for book 4 of Reign of Winter, the Frozen Star. I found some for the maiden mother Crone dungeon of book 3 that were pretty nice, but so far nothing for book 4 or beyond. I plan on making them myself in DD if not, but it would save so much time if there were some out there already.

Looking for some help here. I'm in the early part of book 3 of RoW. The party has just emerged from the hut in Iobaria and dealt woth the frost giants. One of my players is wanting to switch characters to a dwarf cleric of Milani. They don't want to kill their current character off and I don't either. We are playing Saturday.

In this session the party will arrive at the centaur camp and speak with Korak Kaag. At the end of the session they will have an opportunity to go to a "city" to prep for the dungeon dive. I figured this would be a decent spot to introduce the new character. Just having some issues with how to introduce the new character and it not feel like we are just throwing a new

Weird bug with player

Technical Question

Over the past week or 2 I started having this issue. Occasionally my players will pause the book and freeze after about 30 minutes. I have to exit out of the player and reopen to get the audio to play again. Anyone have a similar issue. I've used audible for over a decade without issues. I've tried updating/reinstalling/ restarting. No dice woth anything

Just discovered the podcast a couple weeks ago. Just finished the most recent episode today. Josh mentioned a hiatus because of life stuff. Has there been any update on when new episodes are planned? I was just getting into all the players

Hey all. I'm currently running a group of 5 through RoW. We are a couple sessions into book 2. I have 4 of the players backstories figured out on how to tie them in to the story. The one that is stumping me is our little gnome. He is a starspul sorcerer. His tribe leaves to basically go on a walabout and find their way through the stars. That was how he came into this story. I'm not fully through reading all 6 books uet, but any advice would be much appreciated

I'm going to be starting a kingmaker campaign soon and I wanted to recreate a samurai I played in 1e. It was a base samurai class with the ronin order. He focused on single targets and criticals with a katana. He also had a horse animal companion (this wasn't that core to the character so if it has to go it can). Ancestry was human. I haven't played 2e yet, but I understand conditions are a big part of combat. I have no issues with trading off some of that damage for someone who can disable opponents as well. With the ronin order, it focused on self reliance. It was able to use willpower points to do things like remove conditions or negating critical. Any advice welcome

Hello all. Needing some help in an upcoming game. We will be running through Citadel of pain, a 7th level megadungeon. I know nothing about the adventure besides those facts. The party will consist of 4 people (very slight possibility of a 5th joining). 15 pt buy, 2 traits, all paizo content available. Nobody else has made a character yet, but 1 of them will definitely be some sort of melee smasher (either a paladin or bloodrager). I was thinking alchemist but I'm open to all suggestions.

Edit: No longer interested in the alchemist. Leaning towards wild shape druid with a dip in bloodrager

Hey naish need some help. I'm coming up on the end of book 1 of Reign of Winter. I've been struggling to write a good villain monologue before they encounter him. Trying to get some inspiration. Any help with episodes and possibly time stamps where Troy has good monologues before the gang gets into it? I went back to early eps but skreed and grinseldek both just get into it immediately.

Hey naish hoping yall can help. I'm wanting to go back and listen to the early legacy eps. 1-6 worked with no issue. 7-10 all seem to be broken as well as some other random eps. Refreshed the url already but no help. Using castbox. Any ideas?

I just recently found this podcast. As someone running Reign of Winter, I wanted to listen to an actual play to get an idea of how other people run it. I've had several episodes now where the episode starts and they are somewhere totally different from where the previous ep left off. Am I the only one experiencing this? It's incredibly frustrating, trying to give the podcast a chance, but between that and how the gm runs the ap, I'm struggling

Playing through the hells vengeance ap. Playing the base occultist. Looking for classes that synergize well. I'm using the trappings of the warrior panoply. Don't know how well it works but I'm not keen on using magus as I already have a gestalt magus. Also focusing on ranged.
