Basically I like convenient install and hyprland config of omarchy, I'm even cool with the agent integration, choice of apps (besides the obvious garbage like twitter and youtube and all the basecamp crap, but that can be removed), tiling window manager looks good, etc...

Generally I like omarchy, but not the questionable future, user repos, blatant disregard for security, and you know, that other stuff everyone is talking about. Importantly, I like one sort of cohesive package that it put together and can all just update cohesively turning Arch into something less of a "job" to deal with.

Just not Omarchy. What are some good options that will likely "actually be maintained" and are no

Great site. It seems to have updated it's design and now there is no feature to search for strings of text. Am I just stupid and cannot find the search field or what?

Reason I am asking here is because the site literally links to this subreddit, and I am 100% sure I found it from this subreddit, so likely the creator is here or you all use the site.

Hey everyone. I'm not a home flight sim kind of person, but years ago I was a FE on C-130s and in the flight station at the top near the engine controls and air for APU and all that there were these little metal switch guards. We would just hook our fingers onto them (I know it's frowned upon, but I mention it so everyone knows what I'm talking about) when doing turns and such so kind of support yourself while you do the half-stand over the stupid FE chair. (I mean engine turns for testing for MAF's etc, not literal TURNING the plane). The little switch guards were approx 1/4in in diameter, sometimes U, but usually U shape with sharper corners, maybe 1-2 inches long and stuck out from th

I have a tiny little low power 5650GE that needs a home, no GPU even needed. ITX board, I have a sfx psu but i can get a flex if needed (not interested in pico psu and all that stuff).

I'm having trouble finding a case that is literally just a solid tube with intake in front and exhaust out rear, nothing else. I want a single opening for dust to go in. Heat is really not a concern at all here. I probably don't even need a single intake fan, but I will have one just to keep positive pressure in the case.

Everything I find is a mesh box. What other options are there? Surely someone makes a little dell office machine-like case that fits this.

This has been annoying me since I updated but I just got around to asking about it, maybe it's just me though?

Ever since I updated around the time Minimax H3 came out, the Mask Editor (from r-clicking a load image node) is incredibly laggy. The cursor when drawing a mask lags behind and it's only barely usable. It still appears to work fine in Chrome.

I would prefer not to use Chrome though.

It worked perfectly fine before. Anyone else have this issue?

Hey there, I figure there is a near 100% chance that you all know about Minimax H3 by now, and I figure this is a good place to ask a question about it where the people reading are probably actually doing the thing and have useful discussion vs over on the main ai video/image subreddits.

I've used claude and chatgpt to write prompts for Minimax H3 by simply passing it the guide for each mode of the model (Here:base and Here:reference) and telling it some general information like "prompt must st

To keep the story brief, I had a known good PSU, known good motherboard, and known good CPU, but motherboard won't support that SPECIFIC cpu because it needs a bios update and I didn't have a different AM4 cpu to do it (and flashback didn't like my assortment of gen3 usb sticks, you know how it is).

So, wanting to get things moving along, I drove down to Best Buy and picked up literally the only model of AM4 motherboard they had. Box says it's Ryzen 5000 and 5000 G series ready, that's what I needed (CPU is 5650G, pretty uncommon but is Cezanne just like the 5600G).

CPU in, everything all hooked up, and it doesn't post. Ok no worries, I removed the cpu, ram, and everything, just leavin

I'm having some nightmarish troubleshooting problems over here and need some AM4 components.

Looking for literally ANY cheap am4 motherboard (it can even be slightly damaged as long as it can test a CPU and bios can be updated).

Also need any cheap "video out" gpu. If it fits in a pcie slot and has an hdmi port (and it's cheap), I would like it.

And finally I need any cheap am4 cpu. Prefer something with integrated graphics, but I'll take something else and also buy a crappy gpu if needed.

###Troubleshooting Help:

What is your parts list? Consider formatting your parts list.

  • Motherboard: B550M PRO-VDH WIFI
  • PSU: Corsair SF850 (2024)
  • RAM: 64gb (2x32) ddr4 3200 CL16

Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive.

Grabbed this new CPU from ebay that did not mention it was vendor locked with AMD PSB, however it might be and I might have to return it - but I do not know for sure yet, help me get it working or figure this out.

Previously this motherboard had a 5800x in it and it worked totally fine. The PSU appears to work fine it is brand new fresh out of the box. So when this CPU did no

I have a LF3 420mm in there now so it fits (if you disassemble some parts of the case to get it in there), and it's thicker than most radiators, so it really seems like the NL-LC1-42 should fit without any issue.

Anyone done it yet and know if there's any "gotchas" like a screw getting in the way or the pipes being too rigid or other fitament issues?

I've been scanning ebay for a while looking for a parts-only AOOSTAR WTR PRO. These things seem to be notorious for having problems and quickly turning into e-waste, but I haven't managed to find a scrap one for sale yet.

I am just interested in the shell and face plate, I don't care if the internals caught fire, are missing, it doesn't matter at all. I just want that exact metal tube shell and the face plate. If you have a junk one sitting around, why not sell it to me?

Also looking for 2-6 pretty decent NAS drives along the lines of WD red plus/pro, Ironwolf, etc.. Not too picky on hours as long as it's reporting good healthy and such.

I'm willing to pickup things local 32822

Trying to get my first little NAS setup. Got a nice workstation board with ECC low power cpu and all the stuff, just need some drives (seems like everyone does!).

I'm looking for two small 128gb M.2 drives (2280, the stick of gum common sized drives). If you've got some 128gb drives laying around that are too small to be useful, I want them and can get some use out of them!

Also looking for some 2-8tb spinning rust hard drives for a NAS. WD red, Exos, stuff like that. Looking for at least four.

I'm not so concerned about drives with a lot of hours provided the big 4 important crystal disk info attributes are fine and it reports healthy. I am not interested in larger M.2 drives, 128gb
