I played CFB 25 and 26 for 600+ hours each over the last 2 years. Leading up to that, I had similar numbers in '06, '11, and revamped while waiting for release. I'm married and have a full time job, so safe to say, 95% of my gaming time went towards this series.

Thankfully, with the poor release of '27 and the controversies around it, I held off on buying and now I have tons of free time. I've been able to play the full Metro series, play Meccha Chameleon with friends, played Cyberpunk and Civilization in small bursts. And guess what? They all put EA to shame. They've reminded me what a full game experience is supposed to be and what $70 is supposed to be able to buy.

Will I buy '2

Just started getting into this game and I'm struggling on the court. I'll admit, I am not the greatest basketball mind out there. I understand each positions' role and the basics of playcalling, but my gameplay is really stiff and slow while I learn all of the controls. So a few questions for you diehards still playing.

How do I increase my shot percentage down low? I'm barely shooting 40% from the paint. Been trying to use a mix of post moves and drives but it hardly seems to matter, everything just bounces off the rim.

What iso moves should I lean on? I like the spin and the regular cross over, but I get caught up on opposing character models super often if I try to drive the lane. D

Had this happen twice now and I think it's repeatable. These are the steps I took both times with the same result.

  1. Play the full game in offense only

  2. Tie the game on the last play of the game

  3. When the supersim menu pops up, select more options and then press B to back out of supersim with the intention of playing both sides of the ball in OT.

  4. This leads to a kickoff with no time left. Progress as normal.

  5. Game forces you on offense first because of the kickoff in the previous step.

  6. CPU plays offense first. Regardless of the result of the drive, the CPU will get the ball back for a second possession in OT.

  7. If the CPU scores at any point on their 2nd possession,

Been testing and tweaking W&T sliders since the game released. I think I have them in a good spot for now and would love some testers and feedback from anyone willing to try. Any and all feedback is welcome, but I am particularly interested in how this set performs over a full season and if you experience a deeper, more strategic challenge in roster management during a playoff run.

The main issue I've found is that HBs and QBs can get absolutely wrecked by vanilla sliders while your other players seemingly shrug off everything. This slider set is trying to mimick reality where teams need 2 backs for a deep playoff run and QBs need to slide and avoid taking too many sacks. However, unlike v

My wife and I are super excited to see UM live for the first time. We're making a whole weekend out of it and are looking for recommendations/things to do around Grand Rapids. Definitely planning on hiking a few state parks and maybe looking around for a rock climbing/bouldering gym. Any other ideas for the weekend?

Another couple questions: the concert is at the Meijer Gardens. Looks absolutely beautiful from the pictures we've seen! How early should we show up if we want to walk around the place before the concert? How is security? Easy enough to sneak in a bag of gummies?
