I bought mine barely a year ago. I used it regularly for about 6 months, but not in the winter. The battery will no longer take a charge of any kind. I wrote boosted about this issue and they replied that they can’t do anything for me. They said it “might” be a battery issue and offered to sell me a new battery for $500.

I spent almost $1700 on this scooter, and for it to completely die in less than a year is completely insane. Save your money.

You’ve been warned. Don’t buy it.

My commute to work is only 1.6 miles. I ride there and back on mode 3, and I’m usually left with 50% battery when I get home, where I charge the battery.

The other day I forgot to plug the Rev in when I got home. I realized my mistake, but figured I could get to work on mode 3, and maybe a slower mode coming home. How does the Rev go from being at 50% to 0% in one mile?

If you have to ride this thing more than 3 miles on a single charge, I would not buy the Rev or trust it to make the trip.

I would love to use the Rev for other things besides my com

Today was my second day owning my REV. There was heavy rain today for my 1.6 mile commute to work. I figured might as well ride and see how it does.

I rode the whole way in mode 3. The tires gripped the wet asphalt well, and I had no issues with slipping or sliding in turns or on the straight. I felt very confident and stable the entire trip.

I wore rain bibs and a rain jacket with my backpack, so I was completely waterproof. The rear wheel kicked up a decent amount of road silt on me. My backpack had road silt on it, as well as the backs of my rain bibs (pants).

Boosted needs to come out with either a replacement fender or some sort of increased coverage clip-on rain fender. If it’s a li
