For the bot {The Bride Takes a Groom by Lisa Berne}… the 3rd of the Penhallow Dynasty. Marriage of convenience, grumpy/sunshine—I normally love these.

MMC (Hugo) is the kindest, most patient, selfless and sweet hunk imaginable. FMC (Katherine) is spoiled and emotionally stunted (not really her fault; her parents are the worst) and it is getting almost upsetting. Her mental monologue is infuriating most of the time.

I’m about a third of the way through and if she doesn’t improve soon I’m going to DNF, which I almost never do.

I’m kinda hoping he dumps her, but of course this is a redemption arc story. I just hope it can outweigh this woman’s bratty behavior.

Is it worth continuing?

Lab rat has been losing steadily at 10 mg/ weekly for months and is almost at goal weight. They will have joint surgery with general anesthesia next month and have to be off any GLP for two weeks prior according to surgeon’s instructions.

How to get off and back on? Last dose would be March 23 and first dose back would be April 12. Should the last one titrate down at all, and then restart lower and work back up? Or just skip 2 weeks and stay at 10 mg?

I’m wondering if I bought from a bogus source. I did a month at 2.5 mg and didn’t expect much, but just titrated up to 5.0 in Sunday and haven’t noticed any change.

I did 8 months of sema in 2024 from a compounding pharmacy, got to normal range but regained 15 lbs in about 7 months.

I don’t feel as much of a reaction to this tirz as I did to sema.

What do you thing? Am not that reactive, or did the sema affect things? Or is the source bogus?

I see this on all kinds of subs related to fashion or other trends. It seems to be mostly a woman thing.

I don’t know what WE think, but I do not think this trend is cute. If you want opinions, ask for opinions, FFS. There isn’t a single hive mind.

I took my first dose (5mg) of Tirz on Sunday, and had to get a routine metabolic panel done on Monday (ahead if a routine endocrinologist appointment for my autoimmune thyroid disease).

My ALT (Alanine aminotransferase) reading was 35, and the lab indicates 29 to be the high end of normal.

The lab app further states:

(ALT) is an enzyme produced primarily in the liver, skeletal and heart muscle. ALT is present in the liver in a higher concentration than AST and is more specific for differentiating liver injury from muscle damage. ALT rises in the instance of liver disease.

My AST is in the green range at 29.

Any idea if this is coincidental or possibly related to starting Tirz?

As the title says, I have taken many, many in-person pilates reformer classes (>500), and am very in-touch with my strengths and challenges. I also have several years of yoga practice (which I had to curtail due to wrist arthritis).

I have taken 6 months off my home reformer due to shoulder surgery, have been through all my PT and know what my shoulder abilities/needs are.

I want to get back on my reformer by easing into beginner-intermediate level routines that are ~20-40 minutes.

I don’t want to go back into the paid subscription service I had before, if I can help it. But I’m a bit overwhelmed by the courses available on youtube. I’d appreciate any recommendations for solid, well-cra
