I load up the game, see that I have 187 of 184 stash slots taken up, and just alt-F4.

I have less than no interest in managing inventory. No part of it is even slightly interesting, let alone fun. I want to play the cinematic tense shooty looty game, not learn a list of objects and memorise whether they should be broken down into their constituent parts or not.

I came here for fun after work, not more work.

I wish they'd add a button that just does all the boring crap and gets me playing the actual videogame part again.

Was I tricked into thinking this was a podcast about the entertainment business? "Fashion, Kardashians, celebrity" seems to be the actual topic of this bit. Bezos owning Amazon doesn't magically make this celebrity wedding relevant to this podcast.

This section was literally just a celebrity magazine segment.

I'm wondering if they've decided the well is a bit dry for behind-the-scenes entertainment production. If it keeps going down this route I imagine I'll no longer be the audience.

I don't really care about the bracket episodes (they're often full of America-centric references or retro games which I'm not interested in), but I joined the Patreon thinking I'd get a version of The Besties without the numerous ads where they sell some sort of nonsense like cereal or an app that gives a third party access to your bank transactions.

I want to support the guys, but I despise ads to the point where I'm pretty close to unsubscribing from a show I pay for.

I'd have asked this question through official channels but there don't appear to be any.

Hi all,

I'm wanting to get into journaling, both to help with thankfulness/MH, and to keep track of small amounts of progress made towards long-term goals as I reflect on each day.

Ideally, the setting up of the app would go something like:

  1. Enter custom prompts (I have a list of 10-15 already, containing things like "How did I help my side business grow in the last few days?"), and you can choose the type of allowable inputs for the prompt (long text, number on a slider, upload an image or video, record a voice clip etc.
  2. How many custom prompts do you want to see per day? (enter number range. I'd be starting with 1-2, personally)
  3. Do you also want to receive a random gratitu

Hi,

I'm an admin of a server and every time someone posts using spoiler tags, the message is instantly deleted. I can see it on there for like a millisecond and then it disappears. If a mod or admin posts it, it shows up fine and isn't deleted.

Any idea where I should start looking?

I'm trying to upload all the product info from my suppliers' full-list CSV.

Because my web server is cheap, it's proving difficult for Wordpress/Woocommerce to process all 13k products on my supplier's list without crashing. I've been trying for a couple of weeks now, and it seems to get through about 40 before getting sad and giving up, so it's going to take roughly 84 years to upload everything.

Basically I'd like to narrow the full product list down to only things that are on an invoice (let's say 200 products), while retaining all the other information in the multiple columns (eg. name, description, URL of image, etc.)

Might be something to do with VLOOKUP? I have no idea though, and

I left the UK 10 years ago, and I was a season ticket holder for a few years before I left.

I've just gone to check the price of iFollow (I haven't subscribed previously because the match replays took several days to be uploaded, by which time I'd usually had the result spoiled - I was checking to see if this delay still existed).

The price is $236 a year. For reference, that would be more than an AFL in-person season ticket here. It's about the same price as a subscription to Kayo, which includes all of the AFL, NRL, T20 cricket, ESPN, and a bunch of other stuff.

My question (since I haven't lived there in so long): does it feel super expensive to someone who lives in the UK? Are they s

Hi,

I'm turning an audio podcast into a video podcast (video footage of the thing the cast are talking about with pictures of their faces overlaid). Each cast member has their own audio track. I'd like to add an outer glow effect to each face as that person is speaking, ie. When the audio is loud the opacity of the effect is 100%, and when the audio volume is below a certain amount, the opacity is 0%.

Hope that makes sense!

Not sure if this is possible in Premiere only or I would need to do it in After Effects?

Every search I do for this topic just bring up articles about applying audio effects.

Cheers

I just needed to write this shit down. The Beasties seemed confused as to why jello/jelly was being mentioned at all.

Hi,

Please list your timezones/availabilities if you're interested in being a mod, and any ideas and an indication that you know what is required to make them happen (so not just "add pictures!") for improving the sub.

A re-cap of rules: no sexism, racism, or really any other kind of isms or phobias. Don't put spoilers in titles, and clearly mark spoiler posts.

So before I settle on how data is to be converted into a WooCommerce-friendly CSV, I'm testing doing a straight import into WC using manually-entered dummy data to make sure I've included all the fields I'll use.

I literally just completely uninstalled Wordpress and started again to see if it was a database issue, but basically after an import, it says successful, and there's nothing in the product list, except a number has been added to the 'all' filter heading, so clearly something is there, it's just not... *there*:

In case anyone can spot what I'm doing wrong, here's the dummy data I'm importing: [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NRANCRe1Z8uc-DABJ

Hi,

I'm trying to put a job up on UpWork for someone to help me make a mascot-based logo for a tabletop game podcast. I have an idea for composition, but I'm struggling to find examples of artwork to show as an example of some things I like.

Is there a convenient way to browse different artwork using tags/categories of illustration style? I'm mostly a graphic designer, so I'm used to being able to just scroll through typefaces or specific graphics and easily pull out the ones I like.

The style I'm after is "adorable goblin looking terrified that will work as a small logo, that I can also blow up and do some shading on". I have no idea how to scour the internet for someone who can do that,
