India's population of roughly 1.4 billion people, combined with growing economic and educational ties, will continue to influence business, migration and politics across many countries, including New Zealand.

A practical step reflecting those growing links would be a direct Auckland–New Delhi flight. Business, tourism, family travel and trade would all benefit.

Planning a work event on Willis Street next week for around 35 people and looking for catering recommendations.

Ideally after a bakery or similar that can provide platter-style, finger food — preferably warm options — suitable for standing and easy to eat off paper plates while people are mingling.

Open to any suggestions (bakeries, cafés, catering spots, hidden gems) that deliver or are easy to pick up from in the CBD.

This weekend AirNZ cancelled their WLG-AKL run and nope they didn't bump me to the next flight (incidentally this service doesn't run every hour or two like I previously thought). The AirNZ app reassigns me to WLG-Queenstown a three hour transit and then AKL. The AirNZ were pretty shocked of this bizarre itinerary. Not a sausage from our flag carrier, they've hit Jetstar lows. Anyway lay your stories on me. The boiled sweets thing is pretty weird, they need to let it go, yep also the cries for "you want a cookie time cookie". Your turn.
