I have the object permanence of a flea and keep putting my headphones down and loosing them. Any ideas? I was looking into gps trackers (I have an iPhone and with my Apple Watch I can make my phone ping which is helpful) but can’t think of a way to fix it to my headphones.
I am very jealous of poetry people. I write for fun, and find it therapeutic. I’ve been trying to write poetry recently - and a lot seem to have an autistic deeper meaning if that makes sense. Thought I’d share a few here.
Hair mask
As a child, I had golden curls
Wrapped around my finger, like purls
I’d sit between my mother's legs
And she’d pull and untangle
I’d scream and beg
Don’t make me go
It’s loud, go slow
The hard brush removed the dreads
Pulling tight on my head
As a teenager, my hair was thick and straight
I’d spend hours straightening it up and down
Hiding every last lump and bump
I’d hide under its weight
Say nothing
Keep walking down t
Yes I know it’s like 2 years old it’s new to me

reddit.comI have a seizure disorder, specifically non epileptic. Last August, I was referred to get my wisdom teeth removed. At this point, they were a soft tissue impaction, but I was referred for a OTC scan and a surgical extraction as a local anaesthesia would likely go badly (digging around in the mouth of someone who could start convulsing is they get stressed is generally a bad idea)
I was referred by the NHS to a company that were contracted to clear some of the NHS backlog.
This company were not told about my seizures.
At first, they booked me for an extraction and a scan on the same day. They called me back a few days later and said due to logistics and the fact I was referred for my OT
I find Nuzlock’s too stressful. I get too attached to my pokemon and get really upset when they faint regardless. But I’ve been playing pokemon since I was 5 and needed a change. So - I’ve been trying a Marklocke - where a pokemon faints, they get a mark. In fire red which is what I’m playing that’s 4 lives.
I’ll probably start doing the catching first pokemon on each route thing but right now in my fire red I’m catching one of every pokemon on the route as I want to try and finish the Pokédex. But it worked so much better for me and I get so much less frustrated and upset.
Yay for trying things different!!
I got my weighed blanket 3 years ago now - it’s great for my Cronic pain. Issue is - never actually been washed. How the hell do you wash and dry a weighed blanket?!
