I'm using Opus 5.5, but there's one thing I can't understand: why restrict cybersecurity use? It would be extremely useful to test our apps with tools that can actually find security flaws. Instead of walling off this feature, it would be better to manage it so it can't be used maliciously. What do you think?
I'm the only one that have problem with calibre and macOS 27?
One i try to load a book, calibre goes in crash!
Anyone?
I'm a bit confused and need some advice.
Until about a month ago I always used Obsidian. I always got along well with it, but I always thought its biggest limitation (partly stemming from the md format itself) was tables, images, and calendar/task management.
On the other hand, Obsidian integrates perfectly with my harness system: thanks to the mcp connector or direct folder reading in Claude, I can properly manage the whole system.
I have one single problem: Obsidian bores me. In terms of structure, management, and additional plugins for tasks and calendar.
I tried Noteplan and it's not bad. I tried Capacities... very, very nice, but the mcp is still immature and there's no way to creat
Quick roundup for MCP Connector, the plugin that lets Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and other MCP clients work with your vault. Six releases landed, 0.15 through 0.20.
The two big additions are Canvas and structured output. Claude can now read a .canvas file as real nodes and edges, add a node, and connect nodes, and writes preserve every existing field so a canvas round-trips with a clean diff. Every tool also returns a typed object next to the text now, so capable clients get clean data without parsing a JSON string and older clients are unaffected. All 48 tools got that from one change.
Smaller wins: the list and scan tools take a limit (default 200, capped at 1000) so a big vault no lon
