Hi all,

I'm a longtime user of Lineage and have run into a puzzle with respect to Trebuchet's battery stats.

I recently upgraded to Lineage 23.2 on kiev (August 2, 2026 build) very successfully. Aside from having to resolve a few migration pains coming from LOS 20, all is well.

I understand that Trebuchet runs in the background - this makes sense, it is a launcher and handles nav/gestures - but Settings' battery stats shows it as my top power consumer, which is not something I've experienced in my years of running LOS. It does seem to be draining battery, even in an clean boot when the phone is idle and background battery use is disabled.

As I write this, Settings indicates that Trebuc

Hello all,

I'm posting to see if anyone can offer some advice and see if anyone else has experienced this.

I have successfully used KDE Connect for a number of years with three Android devices (LineageOS) via wireless and two computers via cat5 (Kubuntu).

Nothing has changed as far as I am aware with my own network setup, but I recently reinstalled KDE Connect on one of the Android devices and am now facing an issue where devices appear in the browse list but immediately disappear.

I have tried:

  • checking for unwanted routing or filtering
  • wiping data for KDE Connect and attempting re-pairing
  • using only one wireless AP
  • searching here and generally on the Internet
  • other things li

Hello all,

I've written some useful things in VBA that I'd like to share with my colleagues. I understand the process for building an add-in with VS, but can't install the tools on the only Windows machine I have use of, where the macros run.

I also understand that I can export my project and someone else can import it into their instance of Outlook, and this will likely work okay - but I'm looking for something with a little less room for user error and thought an add-in would be the way to go.

Given the above - does anyone have alternative suggestions to VS for building a distributable Outlook add-in from existing VBA code on Windows or Linux?

(I can almost certainly rewrite in another

Hello all,

I read here but don't usually post, and wanted to share something I've learned that may affect some users.

The other day, several of my Outlook macros involving clipboard operations just stopped working for no particular reason that I could determine. I spent an hour setting breakpoints/watches and trying to determine why even WinAPI calls wouldn't work. It turns out that the "Clipboard History" feature interferes with Word.Document.Application.Selection.PasteAndFormat() along with a few other clipboard functions.

I turned it off, and everything was back to normal.

I hope this helps someone in the same situation. Thanks to everyone here for being so helpful!
