My wife and I bought a house in Washington a few years back when the interest rates were a little lower. Our monthly mortgage payment is 3788.00 only around 500.00 of which is principal both of our paychecks go into making a mortgage payment and bills only keep piling up. We are looking into how chapter 7 would affect our staying in our home. I understand a little but haven't seen any mention of if the interest is wiped out during the proceedings?
