Hello! New to the area and will be looking to hire some folks to install some flooring and paint some interiors. Not sure if it will be something we end up doing ourselves or not. Does anyone have any folks they recommend? Thank you in advance!
One of my Easter eggers has had a routine problem laying. She is a little over a year now and has been laying for quite some time. The problem she has is if she doesn't lay every day she often has a hard time for an hour or so the following day ( fluffed, tail down etc) until she lays an egg (usually in the run/yard/wherever she can get some quiet time). Sometimes she then lays two eggs on the same day ( that same following day after 'holding' the egg). One egg in the run after feeling crummy and one egg normally in the nest box. Sometimes the egg has a weak shell, sometimes not. She has ample calcium available and a high quality feed with minimal treats interrupting her nutrition. N

I am not sure if this risk is primarily for amphibians/geckos/animals with more delicate skin or all. I know that Porcellio laevis is often used with snakes and that species is also supposed to rather protein hungry so I
