Der Vermieter hat den Mahnbescheid ohne Begründung widerrufen. Somit habe ich den nächsten Schritt eingeleitet. Nun muss ich eine Klageschrift an das zuständige Amtsgericht abgegeben werden.

Having an engineering background I wanted to obviously fix the TV. And from what I had read online up to that point is that the CPU starts overheating because the thermal paste dries up and becomes rock hard and has very poor thermal conductivity.

This is partly true. Sometimes it is just the paste, then the TV usually works for a long while before shutting down.

Moi zusammen, ich hole in ein paar Tagen was aus Hamburg ab über Kleinanzeigen (komme aus Niedersachen). Von dem Gerät brauche ich nur ein paar kleine Teile und der Rest ist dann Schrott. Ist aber kein Kleingerät. Wo kann ich sowas denn örtlich wieder direkt entsorgen? Wertstoffhof lassen nur Leute aus Hamburg dort was los werden. Elektronikläden wollen, dass man dort erst ein neues Gerät kauft, bevor die den alten nehmen. Und die Kleingerätecontainer sind alt nur dafür gedacht und man "soll" nichts davor stellen.

Was wären meine Optionen? Das Teil nach Haus schleppen will ich mir nicht zumuten, da es auf dem Dach vom Auto muss. Da will ich ungerne über die Autobahn mit.

Kurz gefasst: Meine Mutter wurde 2022 wegen Eigenbedarf gekündigt. Januar 2023 Schlüsselübergabe. Danach gab es hin und her wegen angebliche Malerkosten und daher Abzug der Kaution (quasi die gesamte Kaution), jedoch wurde nie eine Rechnung bereitgestellt und wir vermuten das es eh alles ein Betrugsversuch war. Bisher wurde nie die Kaution, auch nicht zum Teil zurückgezahlt. Aufgrund des Stresses des Umzugs (von Süd nach Norddeutschland) ist Thema Kaution liegen gelassen worden. Nun will ich helfen und ihre Kaution wiederbekommen. Dazu habe ich diesen Brief geschrieben. Wollte kurz Meinungen hören.

I picked up a "sold as defective" 2017 iMac 27" 5K Retina and the only thing "wrong" with it was the power cord being cut off and thus "untested". Boots up just fine.

the LCD panel is fine, no cracks or issues there. the glass is a different matter. it's not cracked, but it does have some nasty deep scratches as seen here:

before anyone just says to leave it or replace it. I am not interested in that. I got the iMac dirt cheap and have no issue trying to fill in these scratches. from what I have read, one option is the stuff they use to repair car windscreens. Some kind of liquid wax?

A tragedy has occurred. Hellmann's had the only real mayo that wasn't just a watery gross creme. Now in their infinite wisdom have enshitified it and made it as rubbish as all the other mayos you can buy here. I guess that's just what the market wants. Watery vinegary slop. I am sure they also save a buck while doing so.

My Disappointment Is Immeasurable And My Day Is Ruined.

this is not strictly electronics, but it is about cooling a CPU.

I have a main board from a TV that was showing clear signs of overheating. It would crash after about 30 minutes of use.

The heat sink uses a vapor chamber. I usually give the chamber a quick shake to see if I hear the liquid slosh around. However I didn't hear anything on this one. So I decided to watch the heat flow on a thermal camera with a hot air gun. So my surprise I saw no heat flow. I have other vapor chambers and can clearly see how the heat is wicked away and distributed within the ch

I have a vintage Philips PM 5127 Frequency generator that I trying to repair. I have replaced a number of burnt out resistors, old caps and fried transistors. I am no expert in analog electronics. I have had this equipment in my collection for a couple of years already. There was a label on it saying it broke in June of 1990. So it has somehow managed to not be recycled for 35 years, despite the fact it was already broken. It has therefore been broken longer than it probably has been working and longer (but not by much) than I have been living.

I have a CECHG that was giving me a 1002 conistantly. I installed one Tantalizer on CELL and RSX and the console started working again. but shortly thereafter would freeze and shutdown with errors 1601 and 1701.

Probable causes are the RSX (or maybe CELL)?

I delided without damage and temperatures are about 40°C after boot and before shutdown.

I installed a further cap on both CELL and RSX (2 Tantalizers each) while keeping the other two TOKINs for now.
