Hey everyone,
As some of you may know, I'm having some major issues at work and need advice. I've noticed while practicing talking in front of the mirror that I have NO facial expressions at all. I don't notice them on other people, but maybe this I part of the issue??? How should I go about using facial expressions, and how to know what is appropriate and when? Are there any good videos for learning?
I know this sounds so basic but l have had little to no support most of my life.
Big sigh. I'm going on meds after 5 years of no meds. They didn't really work for me before, just made me gain weight and have high blood pressure... but here we are.
My supervisor at work says that I'm the reason people are leaving/switching shifts. That when I speak it's abrasive and the tone is off. That I've create an uncomfortable work environment. I work an overnight shift with 4 other people and when I talk to them everything seems fine, but I also live in a state where people tend to not talk about problems, because of fear of confrontation. I have told them before that if I'm doing something wrong they need to tell me so that I can adjust. But they refuse. They say I just have to f
Has anyone here used this company for assessment? It's online and they do a video call. There are very limited options where I live for adults, and I'm also worried about being scammed out of so much money.
About a week ago I had a meeting with my supervisor... and her boss. It was about an issue that had occurred and we were supposed to talk about how to improve on that. Instead she starting involving things from a year ago and my memory sucks and life has moved on for me so I told her I don't remember any of it.
I didn't feel any pressure at the time because I just thought "oh a meeting with a third party for more perspective maybe".. I didn't realize that it could be a bad sign. So I spoke very openly about the situation, my insecurities, what I need from others, and things like this.
Now I'm realizing that the issue was bigger than I had thought and that he was there to maybe assess if
Does it exist for adults? I could really use help, and I want to learn, I have a lot of drive for this, I just can't figure out where to even start. It would create a massive change in my life if I could simply socialize better.
Any tips, any help, any programs. Anything.
Heya folks,
After some feedback at work I've decided to try figuring out the issue. I know I can be emotional but it's usually just being really happy or crying. I only feel legitimately angry a handful of times a year, atleast that I can identify. Which might be the whole issue here, is maybe I can't identify it.
I have been told maybe 3 times in the past 2 years that I have anger issues at work. So I really need to figure this out because it can threaten my job. When I get to work I'm usually feeling good, calm, ready to go. I can feel frustrated if the previous shifts coworkers leave me a ton of work while they just mindlessly scroll on their phones, because I'm like... you can still h
Hey everyone. I have a repeat issue in my life that seems simple but I can't figure it out. It affects me mostly at work. A lot of people get upset with me and call me rude or complain about me to my supervisor because I don't say hello to them. The times my supervisor has brought it up. I simply stated that I was unaware they had greeted me. Reality is they don't greet me. Not one of these people who respond this way has greeted me. Otherwise I almost always respond unless I genuinely did not hear them.
This led me to think that maybe there are certain situations where one person is supposed to be the one that says it first. Can anyone tell me of any instance where one person should be st
Hey, I am closing on a house on the 7th. I'm having a lot of anxiety about it so just wanted to see if anyone has a similar background and felt the same or advice to be calm.
I have been in and out of homelessness my entire adult life. I was homeless in college (too poor to even buy the books I needed), after I had my first child (city said the apt was uninhabitable due some water and gas issue), when my second child was one (ran away to escape abuse), and again during covid. I've been stable for 3.5 years now in the same apartment. I have both my kids now and have received 4 promotions at my job these past 3.5 years. I have been working my ass off to get us to a better place.
Now I just f
Hello. I recently purchased this game and have been having a lot of fun. I've completed over half the songs on basic mode and went to expert. All this time all the red and green dots were the same size. Now I'm seeing some red dots and green dots tiny size. I went back to basic mode and see the same thing but I don't recall any tiny dots before. When I try hitting them I get miss or bad. I've had an entire green bar dropped due to this even though I'm still holding down. What's with these dots? Did I accidentally change some setting?
