POB says my poison damage is 150k so my clear should be great. However, in practice, my clear feel super inconsistent, presumably depending on whether or not I crit. Is there a way to smooth out this clear? I can't imagine getting 100% crit is reasonable/feasible.

I've watched videos where people with similar gear are clearing in one click while also having nova support/fork/multishot that reduces damage. Meanwhile, I'm running all damage supports on PBA and not getting the same results.

I'm currently maxed in my 401k and IRA (not Roth, since I'm over the income limit) and any leftover goes to a taxable brokerage at Fidelity. I'm pretty aggressively saving for retirement since I'm starting late (only started working at 29). Currently, I'm split between FZROX and FZILX. However, I've seen some people say mutual funds aren't good in a taxable brokerage because of dividends/capital gains. How much does this matter? I'm not super well versed on how much this would affect me or how much these 2 funds would be distributing. I figured they're close enough to VTI+VXUS but with the benefit of having 0 expense ratios. Am I gonna be incurring any serious taxes?

If it helps, I'll be in

[KCD2] Tip for Struggling Marksmen

SpoilerPSA :noise_blank:

Archery sucks when you're starting out. The bow swings everywhere and you have the stamina of a drunkard. If you're like me, you thought shooting at wild animals and hunting would be the easiest way but I found the experience to be pitiful.

Turns out, this is because you get more experienced based on the range of the shot. Find an archery range, such as the one at the huntsman's, and shoot at the targets. Stand as far as you can while hitting it and you level up relatively quickly. It's even faster if you can do the archery competitions (around level 12, I could win the medium difficulty and by level 16, I'd win most of the hard ones). The Eagle Eye perk that slows down time also helps you

The Loghorrean was way easier than Bloodlord Thalonis. What the heck was that? It also didn't help that my rift bugged 3 times in a row and kept putting me into terrain I couldn't get out of, so I had to restart the run.

So where do I go from here? Also, can anyone give me tips in my build? I half looked at a guide but I'm trying to do as much as I can on my own.

I was trying to follow Woolie's Rage Cleave build on Slayer but his tree wasn't fully updated to 3.25 so I kinda winged it/pulled from poe.ninja (there's like 1 dude playing cleave slayer). How can I improve the damage on this build? My survivability is okay but it feels like I take so long to kill rares that I'm taking tons of damage. Most of my gear right now is budget that was either self-made or bought for =>5c. I've got several questions on where to go with this build.

  1. Is my tree bad?

  2. Where should I focus my upgrades first?

My budget is about 1 divine that I found in a t1 map. I just managed to fix my accuracy so I'm planning to work towards Veteran's Wr

Bommarito 500 Tickets

:snoo_tableflip: Off Topic

I'm not sure if this is the correct place but I have four 2-day tickets to the Bommarito 500 August 26-27 that I can't make. They are in Section 4, row 45. Selling for face value (100 each) or 360 for all 4.

I am in St. Louis so I'd prefer to meet in person but I can email the tickets as well.

I just got this game as I'm finishing Pathfinder:Kingmaker because I heard it's a great game with a lot of freedom of choice. I was wondering if this game penalizes you for not being "good." I've noticed that a lot of games (Kingmaker included) tend to have better rewards for being a good guy as opposed to being evil/selfish. For example, turning down 500 gold as a reward ends up netting you a unique legendary sword later. Your friends also end up dying and the kingdom falls into ruin, etc.

I wanna try not being a good guy but I also hate to miss out on good loot. After all, what good is gold when the best items are looted anyways?

I just got this game and it feels like I'm a kid playing Ace Combat 5 again. But there's also a ton of planes unlocked that I feel like I shouldn't have unlocked (for example, why would I use the F16 if the F22 is available?) I know the Top Gun ones are DLC but I can't figure out where the other ones (like the F22 or those futuristic Belkan ones) came from.

Can someone tell me which ones are DLC/extra content so I can have the normal plane progression instead of just using the best plane for the entire game? I'm starting with the F16 since I assume that's a starter plane.

Edit: Follow-up question: is there a better way to compare plane stats? As a kid, I just picked whatever looked coole

Help Building Characters

Kingmaker : Builds

I've just started this game and I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. I do enjoy the amount of freedom (both in game and in customization) so far but I also feel so lost. Been playing for 4 days now and I only just discovered that I could swap out spells/have to put the new spells I learned into the slots in the spellbook. Really explains why I've been wondering how to get all these buffs.

I'm trying to go as blind as possible and not metagame it so I'm staying away from guides (they all tell you to multiclass to min/max). I've heard I can just go single class on Normal so that's what I'm doing but I can't tell what feats/spells I should be grabbing. For example, I thought Endurance wo

Modwatch link: https://modwat.ch/u/terminbee

In vanilla Skyrim, dead thrall is supposed to be a permanent spell to make a corpse follow you. But mine is a limited time (like, 3 minutes or something?) and I'm not sure which mod is causing that. I suspect it's one of the spell/perk mods (Apocalypse, Ordinator, etc.) since I usually don't play with those. Anyone experienced with those would know which one is causing that and how I'd make it so I can have a permanent Dead Thrall once more? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone ever just kept continuing with the tests? Does the game just make you keep doing the tests over and over until you finally get tired of doing them?

I made some beef stew but I overestimated how much my Dutch oven can hold. I bought ~6 pounds of meat but I only managed to get maybe 5 in there. I've got some leftover chuck roast that I've already seared but I realized it wouldn't all fit. Is there a way to add this to my fully cooked stew or should I just throw it in, then throw the stew back in the oven for another 2 hours or so?

It was a comment not too long ago (maybe in the past week or 2) where someone told a story of a guy named the professor who teaches english at a community college but also sells weed. He went to buy weed and the guy busted out a banjo or cello or some shit and played music for him when the guy just wanted to buy weed and go home. He ended up staying for a few hours to be courteous.
