Aside from the obvious lack of redditors living there, how is it? Has it survived economically? Lived there as a teen in the early 90's and considering a move back. Miss the parks and walkability.
Tho what the hell is up w/ Seaholm & Groves having combined football teams??!? That used to be our biggest rival!
I'm not watching Pebble this weekend b/c NBC/Golf Channel insists on making it soooo fucking insufferable.
However, I will DVR it and watch it next weekend, fast-forwarding the ads OUT OF FUCKING SPITE.
We've been left out on this one. 30 years ago the boomers got a Doors movie. Since then there's been plenty of biopics, including recents like Bohemian Rhapsody or Love & Mercy. Elton John had one a few years back. There was a motown flick within the last decade IIRC. But where are our stories?
We've got one so far - Straight Outta Compton - but that's hardly enough (hence 'another'). Where's the story of Axel's riot in St. Louis? What about Kurt's rapid MTV ascent and subsequent suicide? That entire early 90's Seattle phenom, and how MTV exploited it, would make a great flick.
But fuck it - at this point I'd be happy to see a Breeders or 4 Non Blondes movie. Or are all these stories d
Found this over on r/history and thought it'd be interesting here.
Doesn't sound necessarily like the ciphertext was an oft-attacked, oft-failed mystery or anything. Rather just a forgotten document that hadn't been subjected to cryptanalysis in a while.
Has some interesting features though, including a 120-symbol alphabet, with whole-word symbols, modifiers for vowel endings, and decoy symbols. Would be cool to see the cipher with whatever key they were able to develop.
