First time unraid user. I tried googling, but it seems this has changed over the years and am not sure what's the correct way to do things now.

Besides the disk array, I have a pool with 1 btrfs formatted NVME drive. I've read some people say to turn trim off on the pool, and use the trim scheduler. That said, I don't see a way to disable the trim at a pool level, so maybe thats put of date? I've also seen people say don't touch anything, trim is auto enabled and good enough. Some say to run the auto trim and the occasional scheduled trim.

Is there a current best practice?

I'm looking at getting a Retroid Pocket Classic for a gift. There's some on Amazon for $150 shipped, sold by Moorechip shipped by Amazon. It's obviously coming from China based on the lead time.

Does anyone have any experience of if the tariff is charged up front as part of the price, considering that's higher than launch price. Or if the tariff will be a further additional charge down the road?

On Aliexpress, the same seller has them for lower base price, but $20 more after shipping with "import charges included". Worth just going that direction?

Listening to the audio book, chapter 94, Zorian casually brings up Zach's mana stabilization frame. When did we learn he had one? I must have missed that part, but googling only got me slightly spoiled about some details on zachs contract. Going to RR and ctfl+f for frame on every chapter between 80 (when they first learn about the one on the lich) and 94 which I'm on, and I'm not finding anything where they learn about it at all.

Does that revelation happen off screen, or can someone point me in the direction of where I can find it? Feels like I missed something important.

I have an older home (1970's) where the previous owners installed LVP but left the ancient carpet in the bedrooms. I'm looking to extend the LVP. The bedroom has a diagonal entrance you can see here where the transition happened. How should I remove panels 1 and 2, and how difficult will it be to replace them so I can get a square edge to continue off of? I tried just sliding them out along the tongue and groove, but that didn't work. Granted, I didn't try super hard for fear of damage. Ideally, I'd love to save those panels and cut them down for a different row in the bedroom. The color is discontinued, I bought extra but I'd hate to tempt fate.

Also, on

Send a thanks

Discussion

When you play a match, or use someone's wonder pick, you can send them a thanks. Costs you nothing, and gives them some shop tokens. The more people that do it, the more likely you are to get it in return. Gwent had a similar system, and it was super common to get a gg after a match.

With the cooler weather (finally) coming in, I'm looking to get some casual button ups I can throw over a t shirt. Bonus points if they have tall sizes. Any good brands for this you guys recommend? Was thinking carhartt, but I've heard they can be hit or miss, depending on the line.

Sorry if this has been talked about before, but I'm trying not to search too hard to avoid spoilers. I'm also an audible listener, so forgive my spellings.

I'm reading AA3, and I'm just feeling lost a lot of the time. It feels like there's an extra book I'm supposed to have read, but didn't.

To start, at the end of book 2, the party was going to Kaelford to meet Tristans contacts. At the beginning of book 3, they all seemed to know who Annabelle Ferran was all of a sudden. No big deal, I was able to pick that up pretty quickly.

The start of book 3 begins with "Train Robbery: Corins perspective" like we were going to get, or had already gotten other perspectives (Maybe Jins, or the Mara/Ka

Looking for some advice, first time seasoning pans. Just bought some Matfer pans, and went to season them. I accidently skipped the step of cleaning the protective layer off first. When I realized my mistake, I pulled it out of the oven, but it had already been about 35 minutes at 440F. But it seems the oil is already polymerized. So now I've got some greenish spots on the pan, concentrated around where the sticker was, but not only there.

I washed the pan now, but I'm not sure if it's OK to apply another layer, or if I should do something else?

Just got a crazy good deal on a Scribe from Amazon, thought I'd share in case it helps anyone else.

Base price is $240 on sale right now. Trading anything in gets you the trade in value + a 20% off coupon for your next Kindle. I traded in a worthless echo dot from like 2016 that hadn't been powered on in years. Kindle2024 coupon code gave me 15% off (even though the add says $15). That made the checkout price $156, or $170 post tax. Already really good.

I have a Prime card, and theres a promo for 10% back on the scribe, so thats $153 net charge. Kindle2024 also gives $15 in ebooks, dropping it down to $138. I'm also a KU sub, and the Scribe came with 3 f

Hey all, I've got Legends and Lattes from when it originally came out on audible. I just came across a new version I don't have, and my googling says this is a functional re-upload for Tor? However, the version in my Library is 6h 21m. The one on the store is listed as 7h 19m. Did the Tor version get extra content?

Maybe u/travisbaldree can shed some light? Much appreciated!
