I have two people who need to travel from Cambridge to Liverpool for a special occasion.

Ideally it would be via a long distance taxi company that would allow alcoholic drinks onboard for the journey.

The train is possible but it is a few changes and there will be luggage.

I did look at a more high-end chauffeur service but it was the best part of a £1000.

Any ideas or recommendations?

When I went to buy tickets on general availability there were barely any and all individual seats. Looking at the ground last night there were loads of empty seats.

Do people just buy them and not turn up or something?

New York Bagel company Bagels have a "new and improved recipe". I assume by "improved" they mean there is a new cost saving ingredient or less weight.

I feel like they should have to include on the packaging what has changed.

Currently trying to enjoy a bagel with the constant nag of "is this worse than last week?"

As it is Bathurst weekend, RCO (racecraft.online) has hourly Bathurst races and an endurance race tomorrow evening!

Already some great races with 14 people last night, would be good to see some more full grids!

Just come across this system that is similar to LFM for AMS2: https://www.racecraft.online/

It has safety stats, race result history, and seasons. There aren't too many users at the moment so you do end up racing a few AI but hopefully that will change if it gets more popular!

Is it possible to park Voi bikes/scooters at Cambridge North again yet?

The map in the app shows a small sliver of space but there is nothing parked there.

Sim racing footwear?

 Question

I've always been a socks driver but recently got myself a shifter and I'm trying to learn / practice heel-and-toe shifting. I have the t-lcm pedals and socks just don't offer enough support or protection from the metal edges of the pedal face plates.

I'm looking for some lightweight footwear to use when manual shifting. I don't want anything as hard core as a full racing boot, something a bit more casual and will keep my feet cooler.

Any recommendations out there?
