Sorry if this is a fairly obvious question, but I'm still fairly new to running a NAS.
I'm running TrueNAS scale with LZ4 compression, and I've been doing a bit of homebrew on my game consoles, which means I have a lot of game files that are either a standard .zip, or a .7z.
Is it even really necessary to have single large files zipped up if TrueNAS is just going to run its own compression? How does LZ4 compare to 7zip? Would I just be wasting CPU/Drive time zipping/unzipping large files whenever I want to access them?
I've been conceptualizing a PS2 multiplayer box recently, basically a custom enclosure with eight PS2s running FHDB/OPL, along with all of the Multitaps, Broadband Adapters, and ilink stuff needed so I can take it to a convention game room, sit it in the middle of a table, and run ***anything***.

Being as how the ilink hub has six ports, and I'm trying to build an eight system box, ***has anyone ever tried daisy chaining two ilink hubs together to create a slightly
I'm not a huge Zelda fan, but I have both versions of the N64 version of Majora's Mask. Is there anything different between standard and collector's edition other than the lenticular label?
My searching so far has dug up discussion that are either from 14+ years ago or concerning the GameCube version, so I would appreciate a definitive answer.
Thanks.
