I’ve owned this 4512 since December 2023, was bought pre-owned but like new. The accuracy has always been awesome and just had it on the timegrapher so wanted to show some love to Serica. Great work, love the manual wind of the 4512. The 7505 is something I have my eye on too. The Amplitude surprises me the most. I’ve seen a lot of Rolex and tudors with better accuracy but the amplitude is often between 240-280.

I ordered an iPhone 18 Pro from Apple's online store and chose to pick it up at an Apple Store on Friday, which was release day.

The store was extremely busy, and the employee put the phone straight into the Apple bag for me. I didn't really think anything of it at the time and left without opening or closely inspecting the box.

I've only just taken it out of the bag now and noticed that one of the bottom corners of the retail packaging is quite badly crushed/dented. The box itself is pretty rigid, so it looks like it must have taken a fairly significant impact.

The phone is completely unopened and still sealed. I haven't turned it on or inspected the phone itself.

I’ve been looking at the BB54 recently and here in Europe the Pre-Owned prices are anything between 600-1000 euros cheaper than new. Sometimes for ones with an older purchase date even close 1200 off of RRP.

It’s really hard for me to justify buying it new when it comes down to it but the benefits of new are also a big plus. How do you guys deal with the decision of going used and saving 20-30% over going new. I’m specifically talking about the pre owned market and not grey market.

Have always loved the vintage Ranger models and the 1016. Have owned many homage watches of the 1016 over the years and always wanted tudor to release the Ranger in 36mm. I really wanted to love the black dial. But whenever I go to see it in person my heart sinks a bit. I have the sinn 556 A and I love that watch, so it’s not the simplicity of it. There’s just something not gelling with me. Maybe it’s the lights at the AD and the rest of the watches making it look like it’s lacking something.

I really would like to love it but I’m not sure I can. There are a few things that stand out to me as negatives.

The green coloured indices. I would have probably preferred a more beige/brown patina.

I haven't read much about this anywhere, expect for some very old posts on the topic. Any issues any leather case users have noticed, where the leather bleeds onto the anodised aluminum? Maybe too early to say.

Newly opened 17PM with dust on the main lens, had this on a 13P and kept it, and the dust is visible in videos and photos using the telephoto lens. Haven't turned the 17 on, thinking of returning. How many if any have the issue? And how much is it visible? What would you do?

I would have assumed the Pro was the more popular model due to the size being a little more standard size nowadays. But seems like the Max has longer wait times. Maybe less max models were manufactured.

Because of the size I’m not sure if I should keep the Pro Max or go Pro, I always have a fairly protective case on my phones. And today when I spoke to one of the Apple employees, the first thing he said when I told him I was deciding between the two, was well if you wanna use a case it makes it even bigger. That got me thinking. How many of you with just average size hands are struggling with finding a rugged case without adding so much bulk? Examples would be good.

Gaming was never my strong point, but boy do I suck at MKW. I’ve won a few races on 100cc but 90% of me coming 1st place has been done on 50cc. Just playing single player mode. One thing I’m terrible at is losing control on corners, and not being able to get back on the straight, so I’m constantly falling over the side of the track or going into the barriers. Am I supposed to be breaking at the same time as drifting? Maybe it’s my age, and my lack of MK experience. Never played it before.

I'm finding in sleep mode I'm losing slightly more battery than l'd like, tested turning it off completely and it improved how much battery was used.
