There seems to be a lot of people claiming "better throttle response" after installing an aftermarket intake on a truck.
However, I cannot see how this is possible on vehicles with throttle-by-wire unless a tune was installed for a 1:1 throttle/pedal ratio. The stock tune follows, what I assume, is a pretty dumbed down response curve and even slows it down in situations with torque limiting on many trucks.
Are these posts a load of bull, or am I missing another factor?

Hi all,
If you are looking to purchase a home or just curious how much your taxes are, I built a spreadsheet to calculate this all for you. I made this because I purchased a house in 2025 and millage rates are incredibly complicated. This made it easier for me to see which places would be cheap or expensive for me. This also influenced how much house I felt I could reasonably afford. I have updated everything with the 2026 values. Not all municipalities are in here, but MOST of them are.
Enter your values in the red fields. In this instance, if I was purchasing a $300k house
