Has anyone else tried applying Tacrolimus or any other ointment for vitiligo to the skin under a beard. I’m hoping someone has found a good way to continue to apply the ointment without shaving their beard. I’ve had a beard for a while. And I have white patches that have spread over time from vitiligo. I’ve been putting ointments on these spots on and off. The shorter haired spots are easy to apply it to and I’m seeing some results. But I hardly ever put it on my longer hairs on my chin because I’m not sure it’s even getting to the skin or just on my hair. I’ve tried a brush face scrubbed and I like to think it kinda helped it reach the skin. But it still gets it all in your beard hair. Any
