So I couldn't find any answers around the subreddit on when to attempt upping the Galactic Conquest difficulty to normal. I have been completing Easy Conquest, though, and I have 4 million GP and it only recommended 2 million, so I thought I'd be ok.

I am not ok. Even strong teams like g10 Geonosians are getting wiped without taking a turn, and the long list of Pirate feats are totally impossible. Only my very best squads, like JKR, DR, EP, and CLS, most of which have some relic characters, are able to force their way through, and then only against enemies that are weak to them. Discovering which are weak to them is largely a process of trial and error, of course, including bizarre nonsense

I'm a longtime casual F2P player, and I've recently completed my years long goal of beating all the Revan and Malak journeys, mostly by spending some of the gear I'd been hoarding. So my question is, now what?

I'm trying to avoid the Disney content, and I've completed most of the other Journeys, so all that's left are Gungans, Starkiller, Executor (which we're getting all those LSTs for so I'm definitely going for that), Leviathan, GAS, and JKL. But Leviathan requires Darth Malgus, GAS requires General Kenobi, and JKL requires Wampa and Hermit Yoda, and I don't know where to get any of them. (I guess this new Proving Grounds thing might offer some access to Malgus? First time I've seen that

As you'll have gathered from the name, this isn't one of my more efficient or sensible builds. It's actually quite tempting to label it, "don't try this at home," and then not post it. But the fact is that it was designed for a specific purpose, and it actually fulfills that purpose quite well. It can solo anything up to ISAs, with DPS ranging from 150k to 180k, and while doing so it will generate over 600k of every damage type in the Endeavor list, despite not being all that expensive if you don't count the account unlocks. So maybe it will give someone some helpful ideas after all.

The underlying theory of the build starts with the fact that I'm most comfortable with and most heavily inve

This is a type of shuttle build I've been using on most of my characters for some time with good success, but surprisingly I haven't seen anyone else discussing it, so I thought I needed to post about it. This build also shares almost everything on it with either Strict Budget Build part 1 or part 2, so if you've been using those, or most other exotic damage builds, the effective cost should be near zero.

The fundamental theory of the build is to rely almost entirely on the Particle Em

So I'm a level 7 dreaming of someday getting the 2-6-6-2T, and wondering what it's going to take to get to level 12. I've checked the in game and online wikis assuming there would be a table somewhere, and done some googling, and haven't found an answer.

I do know that level 6 required 20k, level 7 35k, and level 8 50k in the last few days, so that's 15k more each, but then I saw someone saying that level 9 requires 100k. Although apparently in April 2023 (per a Youtube video on a related subject) it was 64k for level 8 and 128k for 9, so I guess these things are in flux. So it might not mean much that a June 2024 video showed 1k for level 2, 2k for level 3, 4k for level 4, and 8k for level

By my count, there are 15 T5 ships available for just dilithium or a level 40 token, which someone might want a starter build for to help them finish off the episode missions and start the reputation grind. My Strict Budget Build covers the three science vessels, the Baby Step series covers the three cruisers with tactical ensigns, Quick Looks 1 and 2 cover the Hegh'ta Bird of Prey and the Jem'hadar Escort, and there's definitely an argument to be made that some are just bad choices. But

As it's been 3 years since I last posted a build for my main character, it's long past time I do so. I haven't been mostly because I haven't been able to play team content for most of that time, but this winter I finally had the opportunity to get some runs in, which let me do both the Strict Budget Build post and this. Then Inertial Supremacy came along, which promised to be an extremely powerful trait, since I'd always found that TRINITY heavily rewarded any increase in this build's -DRR output. Unfortunately it proved not to work well with Torpedo Spread at all, but I came up with a workaround, which, although a bit odd, was supposed to be 8% better than what I'd had. And so in the last f

I never intended to make a part 2 of my original Strict Budget Build post, I thought it was sufficient on its own to get people started and then they could grow from there. But eventually, I got curious as to what could actually be achieved relatively quickly. So, where the first part was something to start your reputation grind with, this picks up at the end of your grind to tier 5, about one month into endgame. Or perhaps at the midpoint, since really it only requires Dyson, Temporal, Discovery, Romulan, and Nukara reputations, just 5 out of the 13, and 5 of the easier ones. I did switch

So I've been playing off and on for a few years, occasionally losing a save file, but recently I learned that there's now a story in the game, hidden >!somewhere in the south in the Spaceport button!<. So I'm building up to try to take that on, and have been farming all the >!Automata in Fornarep!< I can capture for a while (going any further >!east!< always ends badly for me), as well as dominating pirates and so on. At this point I have an active fleet of 12 Mules to be my freighters, 3 Bactrians, 8 >!Korath Raiders!<, 24 >!Shield Beetles!<, >!1 Model 512, 7 256s, 6 128s, 24 64s, and 13 32s!<, with my flagship being either one of the Bactrians or one of

This was one of those projects where I had one thing that I was curious about, and then I came up with two more, “well, as long as I'm doing that...” things along the way. The primary goal was actually to see if it's possible to do scitorp at lower levels, then I picked up the budget build idea, and the question of which gear levels for free became relevant along the way. I'll post a list of all the gear I've tested in the comments, and would encourage people to add anything else they know of, it's good information to have around, and it certainly made putting this build together a lot easier to be able to pick things up early. To avoid burying the lead, the final build has done six runs of

So, this was supposed to be an easy, fun, budget build, I was even thinking of duplicating it on multiple toons. I figured I had a good platform, I'd learned a decent amount about the mechanics of the game, I ought to be able to do ok with Mk XII gear. But it's still only doing 35k in ISA despite all the Mk XVs. I could get a little more by using the good reinforcement beacons, and I can upgrade my weapons a little more, but I assumed I'd get to 50k, and I don't see how to get there from here. Is it likely to be a piloting problem? I'm certainly more used to EPG builds. My DECS does predate all of the current meta by several years, would that make the difference? Or did I make an error somew
